Unit arrived. In ok condition, packaging was great. Took about five minutes to put together, pretty sturdy I’m happy with it. I do have 2 complaints. 1st the screws are too small for the holes. The first attempt to hang the shelves resulted in the screws going through the holes in the flanges and in to the wall. I had to get larger screws. 2nd The paint on the pipes arrived already flaking off. This is not the black iron pipe you see in Home Depot that people use on Pinterest to make stuff out of. This is a thinner metal pipe that’s been painted. Obviously for the price, this is not going to be an heirloom piece of furniture so a little electrical, tape or paint should fix the problem, the way that it is packaged sending it back to the manufacture for replacement is not worth it. Let me start by saying, we love this shelf! I love the industrial look of it and is was fairly easy to put together. Hanging it was a bit harder. It’s HEAVY! I would suggest making a template or having 3-4 people to help hang it because it was a total pain for two of us.

Shelves were easy to assemble. One this is the wood is lighter than the item I saw, it’s more of an oak color. Pretty light. I would recommend if you’re not good with measurements to place a 6’ long 1”x2” at the height of the top shelf and use long screws to anchor on 3 studs and you can rest the shelf on this while you make your marks to drill holes. I also left the anchor points a little loose to move around on the final line up. You will have small holes in sheet rock but those are easily fixed and this allows you to be able to install this by yourself ... show more

I bought this for $180 I believe, so I think for the price, it's pretty good. It looks fantastic, but was really hard to put together, and had some poor quality on some of the parts. If it was more expensive, I would have given 4 stars. There are basically no directions, so it was pretty hard for me to install. Not that it was hard to put together at all, it's very simple, but knowing the measurements between each round circle anchor on the wall was unknown. I basically put it together on the wall as a template, and then put my pencil mark in the holes in the rough anchors. It also had some paint coming off the pipes, as you can see in my picture, but I just put some Sharpie on it and that fixed it. You can still tell if you look closely. But given that this is industrial-style shelving, I think some rough edges and stuff like that is OK. I recommend it, just be aware that there are some flaws to the materials, and it will take you a while to install. ... show more

I wanted something to put our bar stuff on (we won a wagon full of liquor) and thought about some kind of shelving. Saw this and it worked perfect! Great look. Not sure of the weight limit on this. Did put the one side in studs but the shelf hooks measured 20 inches apart (studs are like 16” apart). So wish they would consider that when making it. Directions are terrible so just figured it out on our own. Put it all together first and then see where you want hung. Put a level on it and used pencil to mark the screw holes. Put them in the top ones first then just worked our way down the rest. I am not done deciding on what will go where on it but wanted to post some pictures of what we did!! ... show more

This piece took me about two hours to install after opening the box which was in terrible shape but full of bubble wrap and tape. One of my wood pieces was chipped, and multiple of my pipes had paint scratched off from colliding with othered it looks like. The single piece of paper is great for instructions if you are assembling this piece to leave it sitting on the floor next to you but it doesn’t give you any instructions for mounting onto a wall. You literally have to assemble it to get measurements for placement on the wall. They did provide enough pieces and extra screws and wall anchors. The spacing of the pipes is 20” so I could only utilized one stud due to the spacing and number of pipes. You cannot tighten the pipes down all the way or pieces won’t align but was able to make small adjustments to keep things square and stable. It looks good on the wall, but I wouldn’t have ordered this if I had read other reviews about the assembly. Also, zero tools provided or listed to be used. I used a Phillips head a screw driver, drill, and hammer for installation. Goood luck if you go this route… ... show more
