I had to buy this bunkie board because I realized that my staircase in my 1910 house is too steep to get a Queen size box spring them. I just moved in and have been unable to set beds upstairs. This thing folds in half to get it up the stairs. Just too bad It is not thicker like a box spring. The bed is shorter now but at least it is working for support. I didn’t even take this out if the box, it arrived all banged up in the corners and one corner was showing thru and was broken. Had so send this back. Can't really rate this for that reason so I gave it four stars.

This bed board does what I needed it to. It firms up the whole matress from end to end. I was using an actual piece of wood before I got this but it didn't provide support under the whole mattress.

Added this bunkie board to a new mattress that was a little too soft. Night and day on my sleep pattern after putting this between the mattress and the steel smart frame. Definitely worth the money.
