This bunkie board has improved the comfort of my bed by a factor. The previous frame of horizontal planks would creek and crack at certain areas if too much pressure was applied, but putting this board right on top has helped disperse the weight and keep the mattress up and feeling way more comfortable. Packaging did arrive with a lot of condensation though, which is strange considering I had it delivered to Phoenix, AZ where there’s nearly 0% humidity. Had to let the board dry out after opening, which concerns me about their distribution facility. I bought it so I could put on my mattress and if fitted perfectly on my queen size bed. It's a little heavy, but I managed to place it on the bed and it does not require assembly. It was complete and it look like good quality. Been using it for almost three months and no complains.

All in all a very nice Bunkie board. Yes, it does slide on a metal frame but I anticipated this. My concern ( the reason for the 4 star rating) is that it appears that sap from one of the wood slats seeped out of the board through the top portion of the cover. We cleaned it off and covered that area with a piece of packing tape. My worry is that the sap might continue to seep out on to the mattress. I will lift the mattress in a couple of days to check. If all good then I will use a couple of velcro straps between the slats and under the frame to hold it in place. ... show more

I bought the Sleep Number iLE mattress and it works great on this. It is durable and strong enough to support a Sleep Number bed. Don't waste your money on the base that Sleep Number is trying to sell you. This is an affordable solution.
