This mat was soft, luxuriously thick, had a quality rubber backing, and washed perfectly. Very cushy to step on and does not slip. It did come out of the washing machine very heavy with water, but it dried reasonably quickly. In a sea of lousy bathroom mats, this was pretty outstanding.

Absorbs more and dries faster than the cheap bathmats at the typical big box stores. Absorbed everything whether toweling before getting out, or just hopping out without drying first. Not that you're on the thing all day, but it does feel nice on the bare feet.
