(Using my husbands account) Best mascara I’ve ever used, hands down! I have very long lashes, any mascara I’ve used from expensive top of the line to $2 mascara, they always drop flecks of mascara all over my face, clump and run down my bottom lash line throughout the day. But not maybelline sky high! Sometimes I work outside doing hard manual labor, sweating like crazy for hours, I look in the mirror afterwards and my mascara looks like I recently just applied! I never write reviews, but I feel like I have to right now. This stuff does not budge. I get the regular stuff, not even waterproof and I can not get it off despite trying. Makeup remover wipes? Ha! Micellar water? Who’s she? Makeup melting balm? Nah. An hour long panic attack on your closet floor that melted off the rest of your makeup and even your wig? Not even. Okay that last one made the previous suggestions possible. But seriously. No flaking, no smearing, and it really does make my lashes look great. Many years ago I developed an allergy to mascara and switched to a pricey moss based organic product that only lasted about a month and didn’t do much. It was just ok but better than nothing. Thankfully, after like 10 years I’ve been able to use “regular “ mascara again and am loathe to spend much after years of paying through the nose. For more years than I can count I've used Avon wash off waterproof mascara but as I have gotten older my eyelashes have gotten shorter and the Avon product does not do much to lengthen them. I'm very particular, I don't want clumpy lashes nor do I want raccoon eyes nor do I want to have to spend 10-15 minutes removing my eye makeup at night. I was quite impressed first when I put the mascara on and it lengthen my lashes, it kept them separated, and it didn't clump. Then I was very surprised that I did not get raccoon eyes throughout the day because my eyes are very deep set and I get color smear from just about any makeup that I wear. To really test the makeup I wore it to sleep and the next morning was shocked to see it still hadn't clumped and I still had eyelashes that looked good enough to go out in public with. As if that weren't enough, I also did yard work and sweated and the eyelashes did not come off. But the biggest surprise and most points goes to taking a shower and just being able to wash off the mascara with soap and water with no residue and no fighting with smears and smudges afterward! I’ve been a mascara user/lover for over 50 yrs. I’ve used the most expensive and the cheapest. For many years, my favorite was DIOR or YSL. after wearing mascara for 50+ years, my eyes have become sensitive to having anything on my lashes. This mascara not only doesn’t bother my eyes, but it goes on smoothly. It makes my lashes thick and lush. It doesn’t smear or flake. In fact, I’ve worn it to bed and it looks as good the next day.
