I am absolutely obsessed with Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara! This mascara gives me the bold, dramatic lashes I love, and honestly, it looks better than some of the high-end mascaras I’ve tried, like Too Faced’s Better Than Sex. The formula is so lightweight, yet it provides incredible volume and length without clumping. The brush is perfect for coating each lash and separating them for a flawless finish. What really stands out to me is the value — you get such a high-quality product at a fraction of the price of more expensive brands. This mascara is honestly the best. I love that it comes off in tubes because it doesn’t smear or spread under my eyes and even if it gets wet it stays in place unless I pull it off. But it comes off so easily when I wash my face or shower. It’s amazing. I love the brown color too

I have a complicated relationship with mascara. I don't exactly love it, but I kinda need it because my lashes are so light blonde that when I don't wear any, I look like I don't even have lashes. One complicated aspect of our relationship is either they change, or I do. I LOVED Tightline by It Cosmetics - even wore at my wedding - but they changed the formula and the product was drying up in less than two weeks. I wore the super cheap Essence waterproof mascara for a couple of years, then it started irritating my eyes; they could have changed something, or maybe I developed an allergy; I'm not sure. I even thought I had found a holy grail in Lancome's Définicils, but then *I* changed my esthetic and decided I wanted to wear brown to meld better with my strawberry blonde hair. That's how I arrived here. I watched a strawberry blonde Tiktoker discussing her makeup routine, and she uses this in brown. She said it was a true brown, instead of a black-brown like most mascara companies make - which is kind of insulting to us, the customers who want/need a brown, but the companies think we're unsure of this and the difference between black and black-brown is not even noticeable when you have it on. 🙄 I don't know if I would consider this a "true brown", it's definitely not black, but it lacks the warmth and brightness of a true brown - like the brown of Cabaret's mascara (which is beautiful, but doesn't go on well and clumps terribly). The Sky High has a similar applicator, but the formula is much better - more smooth and creamy and not clumpy at all. It's also a tubing mascara, which, if you haven't tried a tubing, you don't know what you're missing! It stays put, but comes off with just warm water and a gentle tug. That is the biggest reason I'm giving it four stars: it DOES lengthen a LOT, without clumping or adding too much volume (I'm not a fan of the voluminous mascaras, myself; I prefer one that improves color and definition). If you like black, or black-brown mascaras that will give you length, without adding volume, and prefer a rubbery, spiny applicator over a thinner brush or spoolie type applicator, this one is for you. I just place more priority on color because I have none on my natural lashes and black can look too harsh on my fair skin and with my light-colored hair. So, off I go! This mascara is a brand I’ve purchased at target many times. It came just as expected. This mascara makes her lashes look super long with absolutely no clumping at all, and comes off very easily. The best mascara by far that I have ever used! It lengthens my lashes like no other. The wand distributes the mascara so that not too much of the product comes out of the tube like every other mascara that I have ever used. What else can I say, it’s perfect! You won’t be sorry just do it.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve bought this mascara—it’s just that good. It makes my lashes look so long and full that people actually compliment me and think I’m wearing falsies. Do not accidentally order the waterproof, you need dynamite to remove it!! There should be levels of waterproof mascara, not one for all no matter what the application is. If you're a swimmer or expect to be in water where you truly need something that doesn't run, then it should be "level 1 waterproof, if you just need to know it's not going to smear or run in damp environment then it should be level 2, ect... Even their non-waterproof mascara in this brand is difficult to just wash off, but much easier than the waterproof one. I wish they would change the labeling and add level's to the waterproof and non-waterproof so you don't have to ripe out your eyelashes to remove it. I even used a high end eye make-up remover and it could not remove it. Just had to wash my eyes every day hoping it would eventually break down and come off. ... show more
