This is a perfect extension cord. It’s 3 prong which most outlets are these days. But if you have an appliance, lamp, or other device you want to plug-in to the cord, you can plug in things that have either two or three prongs because it accepts both. I also love that they plug that plugs into the wall outlet rotates. In some situations like hotel rooms or on a wall where there’s a lot of furniture or tight corners you really need the end that plugs into the outlet to rotate so it can fit. Works perfectly behind our espresso machine to provide 3 sockets in small space. Also provides us multiple outlets for phone and notebook chargers in a very small built-in cubby -- the rotating plug "head" was important here, nothing would fit without the rotation! Main problem is quality control -- I could not plug anything into one of the units. I think the socket's metal contacts were too close together or loose, so the socket's metal contacts bent in a way that a plug's prongs could not fit in. 2 out of three working isn't bad but I needed that 3rd unit! ... show more
