Based on the instructions for measuring to get the correct size. It indicated it should be a large. The fit is very snug, I thought about returning them for a size up, but I have ample movement. These defenately allow me to comfortably go much lower in my squats than I would have been wthout. I am am actualy acheiving true hypertrophy on my squats and with just the three weeks that I have been using them I have seen some noticable gains in my legs. I'm back to living the gym life after a few years away, and my knees haven't appreciated the wear and tear of putting on a few extra pounds on top of old injuries. I have used wraps in the past, but this is my first pair of sleeves. I found the price point of some of the bigger brands a bit daunting where I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted, so I gave these a shot. I leave them on start to finish for my squat sessions, and my knees love them. Good compression and heat retention, and the support works great moving into heavier sets in the ~1.5x bodyweight range. Fit was true to measurement instructions, and the price point is nice. I think I would personally prefer them to be a little longer, but that's a minor complaint. I turn them inside out to dry outside of my bag after training sessions, and I have had no odor issues so far. Good purchase 👍 ... show more

I somehow keep losing these, so I've ordered them three times. All size Medium. The third order was WAY too tight. I was already on my trip and used them anyway, but I think I was pretty close to actually damaging my leg after several hours on the ski slope. With the right size, these are a good product, but sizing needs to be consistent to avoid hurting customers. Edit--increased from 2 to 4 stars because MAVA has really tried to make this right. They sent another pair of sleeves. They are also a little too tight--same as the ones I got in January 2024 and tighter than the ones I ordered in 2021. The actual difference is only 1/2 inch in circumference, but it's enough. Anyway, I've had good success with the older and slightly larger ones being comfortable and protecting my knee and virtually eliminating pain on steep hikes. I'd recommend a purchase, but be ready to replace them with a different size if needed. And one last thought--these have been great for hiking, but maybe a tight compression sleeve is not such a good idea to combine with cold, like downhill skiing. My leg was actually grey below the knee after half a day skiing in these. It pinked back up after a hot shower and some rest, but compression plus cold--maybe a bad plan. ... show more

Fits snug but you have to measure exactly. These are the best knee pads I’ve ever used for working out. They are a little thick and snug but don’t slide down or curl down at the top of the knee. They feel comfortable while supporting the knees during a workout. I would recommend.

    • They Stretched Out and Aren’t Tight Anymore

After wearing these for about ten or so workouts, they have stretched out to the point that they are very loose and don’t provide any compression or support. These are complete garbage and soon will join the rest of the garbage in the landfill. I don’t know what happened to Mava. They used to be a good brand, but now everything they make is trash that doesn’t work or last. Do not buy from this company. Mava, I don’t care if you give me a refund for your cheap garbage, your business is a scam, and I’ll leave negative my review up. If you want good reviews, make good products. ... show more

The padding on the knees broke down after 5 months of regular use. My previous pair lasted at least a year. I’m thinking quality has gone down or I just got a lemon.
