    • Stainless Steel coffee maker works as good as it looks
We ordered this as a wedding shower gift for my daughter and future son-in-law. The coffee maker looks really good in a stainless-steel finish. Besides the push button selections on the front panel, it includes a large pressure gauge at the top, underlining the professional look. And I really like how the milk Frothing attachment connects and locks directly into the side. The machine has a very solid construction. There are many other nice features in the design such as the suction cup feet that support the machine on the counter and keep it from moving or sliding. And the built in programming for lattes and cappuccinos that prepares and dispenses the milk into your cup then automatically creates and adds one or two coffee shots to the mix to finish the drink. It really simplifies the process for making a great early morning wake up coffee drink. The machine even has a large water reservoir so you can prepare a number of drinks before you have to stop and refill. The morning after the shower, we opened the box to celebrate with a special coffee. The instructions were easy to read and follow. They took us through the initial set up that included cleaning the water and milk tanks. You also have to run some fresh water through the system to clean the internal water lines and pumps. All the while I was grinding the beans making fresh coffee. When all was ready, we took the coffee and added the grinds to the "Max" line on the side of the Portafilter and installed it on the machine. This was enough for two shots of coffee. We added milk to the frother and we were ready. The first drink was a large Latte. We pushed the button and the froth dispensed. Once this was done the machine automatically switched to making coffee which was done very quickly. The first drink was done. We added a little sugar to complete the drink. It tasted great. So, we continued to make two more. Pretty cool. I would comment that there is some preparation to making a drink. It's not as easy as a "Pod" based machine. And the clean-up is more time consuming as well. But the coffee you get is so much more. Delicious lattes and cappuccinos. An Expresso for the hardcore coffee drinkers where you can add some sambuca or maybe a Cafe' Americano - which I like. These drinks are worth the extra time. It's like cooking a fine meal as opposed to a quick bite to eat. These are great coffee treats to offer after a nice dinner party or get together that really makes it a special occasion. This is a great looking machine that, makes a variety of great coffees at an economical price. My daughter is thrilled to have it and already has a spot on the counter picked out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a dedicated expresso machine. ... show more

    • So far it Works Great for me.
The only thing is, I don't really have any reference for comparison. I've never had the luxury of having one of these before so I'm probably easily impressed. Being a beginner with a cappuccino, latte, and espresso coffee machine though, I'd have to say. This one was quite easy to set up and figure out. At least, it was for me. The only real downside I've come across so far, would be the amount of pieces that need to be washed and cleaned up between uses. Seems that's all I do anymore, lol. Do a little vacuuming with a cordless stick vacuum? Then I often spend more time cleaning the vacuum than I did vacuuming. Then it's time for a treat of some nugget ice! But hold up- the ice machine needs to be cleaned, lol. Y'all know what I'm saying? Maybe I just got the wrong vacuum and ice machine though. I don't know. Regardless, it really isn't that bad cleaning up this cappuccino, latte, and espresso coffee machine. It's just the only downside I've encountered with it. And so, I could definitely recommend this coffee machine to anyone who's considering getting it. Just keep in mind though. I AM a beginner and this is my first machine like this. ... show more
