I'm blessed to live near the nyc fabric district so I've got ready access so some of the biggest spandex suppliers in the country. This is good quality stretch fabric, but the price is 50% more than I'd expect to pay per yard locally based on thickness. You'd need to double line this if it's your shell fabric, it's quite thin. This is thin. Makes a great lining for swimsuits and active wear. The high spandex count makes it work well for the interior waist band of yoga pants, it has some holding power.

The fabric is as described. 4-way stretch tricot milliskin. It can be used for swimsuit or active wear. The color is bright and beautiful. The dense is good. The package is good. The cloth remains clean thanks to the plastic bag. I expected higher quality with this price ($15 per yard, thought I got it with vine). I had milliskin that is stretchier and more comfortable, and slightly cheaper. Another drawback is it's precut. Unless quilt fabric that you can use smaller sizes the same, you'd want a single piece when you buy multiple. This is fine to make two-piece swimwear. But the option is quite limited to make active wear for a large size adult. Overall, I'm still satisfied. And I think when the price is right, this will be a great buy. ... show more

This lake blue nylon spandex is vibrant, super soft, and very elastic. The color seems uniform across the textile and edges are neatly trimmed. The cloth is also clean and free of lint and other debris.

Nice fabric. True 4 way stretch. It laundered beautifully. The only reason for the four stars is because it is rather thin. I got it to use for dance skirts for which it will be perfect. For leotards or swimsuits it will need a lining.

I have been sewing for many many years now and own a sewing and design business that specializes mostly in swimwear and dance wear. Milliskin is a fabric I have used often and generally, most fabric in this group are the same in terms of quality and stretch. The fabric I received today is no different. A pretty good quality yard of Milliskin fabric. Excellent stretch and recovery, great color (black) and excellent drape by nature. Caring for Milliskin fabric is pretty straightforward for long lasting garments, hand wash cold, don’t dry in the dryer, don’t use bleach nor fabric softeners, do not iron, and the garments you make should last for quite a while. This fabric will be quick to lose its elasticity if you throw it in the dryer at any heat temp. This milliskin fabric is excellent for swimwear and leotards; it’s light weight, has great 4 way stretch, recovers well and is form fitting when constructed correctly. I generally do not use milliskin without making a lining and in some cases an interlining. It’s very thin so use your best judgement in its applications. ... show more
