Where was this 30 years ago? If I had the pieces of matchbox city when I was little, maybe I would’ve been a city designer. The ferry is just like driving into a real ferry boat station.

    • How many toy manufacturers make a ferry? I call this a collectable!
I collect Matchbox and other die cast toy memorabilia. I seldom run across a ferry or other ship-based toys in the die cast car world, so I bought this as a collectable keepsake. (Not sure how much children enjoy playing with this, but this ferry makes me wish I were a kid again ... lol) It also reminds me of a nearby (and famous) ferry. Besides being collectable (in my semi-humble opinion), this ferry playset arrived only partially crushed due to shipping/handling. Love Matchbox stuff, too bad the shipping/handling is beyond my control. Sigh! ... show more

    • You need to buy two at the same time for it to realistically work!!
Only problem, you need a second one for the boat to dock with vehicles aboard once it arrives on the other side of the body of water.
