I purchased this soap bar case for a weekend trip and an upcoming camping trip. I was looking for a case for my full size soap bar that would not leak. The soap I use is 4 in x 2.85 in x 1.95in. After reading the reviews of this Matador Soap Bar Case, I chose to purchase it. It fit my soap with no problem. I am SO glad that I did! The product description and other's review comments were 100% right. Right after I had used my soap in the shower, I put it in the case, folded the top twice and clipped the ends together while crossing my fingers that it would not leak in my toiletries bag and backpack. To my surprise the soap was completely dry and not wet or mushy once I opened up the case when I got to the hotel! I was truly amazed! Another plus is that this case does not take up a lot of space like a plastic/silicone rectangle soap case would. Matador's soap bar case looks a like a palm size dry stuff sack. If you travel with shampoo/conditioning bars or just your own bar soap, this is the perfect case. You can put the bars in wet and they will dry. Keeps everything in your travel kit neat and dry. While the size of shampoo bars varies, I can put both my shampoo & conditioner bars in a single bag. To clean it, just turn the bag inside out and wash/ air dry. You don’t have to do that very often. In the past, for weekend trips, I've used zip lock bags to keep my bar soap. It usually was nasty and wet, but serviceable. But with a 3 week trip overseas coming up, was looking for something better. I've used Matador products before, so I bought this soap case. Once you put your soap in the case, you can roll and clip the bag close. During my trip, I went to multiple AirBnB stops as well as hotels, and this case never failed me. Honestly, I love this soap pouch - it is much better than any of the alternatives out there - but it is just short of being perfect. It is a bit too small to roll the pouch top three times (per the directions) with a new bar of soap. It fits, but barely. Aside from that, I have no complaints! It seems to dry out well itself and dries my soap out pretty well while in the bag. Not as quickly as when totally exposed to the air, but much better than when closed in a regular bag or hard storage container. It has been watertight so far and is very light weight. This thing actually works great, you can put the bar of soap in there right out of the shower and it doesn't leak through the bag at all and the soap still dries out inside the bag. Works great and it's very packable.

Traveling with bar soap is messy. I ordered this based on some YouTube travel tips. Tied it out at home and it works! This won't hold a full sized bar but I don't think that's necessary. I cut my soap in half and that's more than enough for an average vacation. I think the dimensions were for the card it is packed on. Rolled up, it measures about 1"x3" x2.5". The rollover clasp is stiff and doesn't lie flat. That might change with use. I'm happy with the product and being able to get rid of gummy, leaky, bags or too-big soap containers. ... show more
