Sturdier than you first think, bigger than you thought (thick, especially), but honestly fun and horologically interesting as a way to represent time. So yeah, you lose a seconds representation. But the tiny bright-ass blue LEDs are kind of intoxicating. So the watch rests in an energy-preserving dark mode. Which I dig in this case. One press of the mode button blasts you with this cool and maybe a little campy LED animation, and then the time. It was easy and fun for me to learn how to read it (by setting it). A second press of the mode button shows you month and date. I can’t speak yet to the durability of the thing, but considering the price, it’s apparently plenty sturdy, and fun and cool. I like that it’s different but unless you can count lights real fast it’s difficult to tell time. The lights do not stay on long enough in power saving mode and the numbers cannot be seen. I do like it as a conversation piece though!

The band just about made it for me. If you have a thick wrist it you won't be able to make the band any bigger. If your wrist is small you can downsize the band. Would have preferred a more minimalist size and less luster. Wife says its downright ugly but I like the concept.

I'm disappointed. I bought this for myself because I thought it looked futuristic. But the numbers on the sides are extremely hard to read. And by the time you adjust your eyes to read them the LED lights go off.
