I really like this canopy. It's replacing a similarly styled canopy that I've had for the last eight years. Compared to that old canopy, this one is better in virtually every way: * It's a foot wider (8'x5' vs 8'x4') * Easier to assemble * Sturdier * Came with cool extras like lights, tool hooks and bottle opener. * Has end caps that adjust a few inches to accommodate different replacement canopy sizes or just to accommodate the existing canopy if/when it stretches over time. My last canopy exhibited the "water pool sag" problem--when water pools in the canopy and permanently stretches it which invites more pooling until the canopy is garbage. It's possible that the extendable end caps would help mitigate this problem by stretching the canopy out when it gets sagged. I didn't want to take the chance though so I build a mini sub-roof out of a bendable vinyl/platic material (see picture). I'm hopeful this will help me get even more years of use out of this canopy as I did from the last one. ... show more

We have this for over our grill and it has been nice to have! It took a little bit to put together but it was fairly easy. Just had a lot of pieces. We have kept the water weights on the legs just to be safe and those have held up very well...only complaint is on the canopy portion one side holds water and will have to go and dump it out...luckily the material after it dries does shrink back but is frustrating. I attempted to replace and just switch the canopy pieces rather then taking it all apart and trying to rebox. And the tents were different sizes maybe because it didn't even come close to fitting. ... show more

Awesome value for the price! $120 purchase price for me. Fairly simple to install. I was able to complete the entire thing solo in about an hour. Just needed help to place it in the final spot. Instructions I felt were a bit lacking but I was able to figure it out. Like other reviews the top was pretty tight to put on. But if you press in the button on the arms and allow them to go in farther than they are supposed to, you can easily put on the top, then pull the arms back into position. You'll know what I mean once you get to this step. Stability is so-so. It's pretty light weight so if this is a more permanent install, get weight anchors that you can fill with sand. There are plenty on Amazon and usually available at your hardware store. It's sturdy enough I wouldn't worry about after being weighted down. The light it comes with is pretty pointless. I'll use it more in the garage than for actual light whole cooking at night. I'll be picking up a set of solar string lights I would recommend this to friends looking to spend minimal money for some shade while cooking. Seeing that more permanent solutions run near and over $1,000 I'll buy this instead. ... show more

Oct. 23, 2022 UPDATE: I have had no response from the company after multiple attempts. Because this issue didn't arise until after the 90-day Amazon return window, Amazon initially directed me to the company to address it through the manufacturer's warranty. I've contacted the company using two different email addresses (both provided by Amazon) and through their website (via Amazon), and I haven't heard anything back in more than a month. I reached back to out to Amazon and, after nearly an hour on chat, they processed a refund. I have to disassemble and take it to UPS, but at least Amazon is making it right and I'm getting my money back. AVOID. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The good: Accessories such as the shelves, hooks, and bottle opener are very nice. I can't comment on how bright the LED lights make the inside as I strung string lights around the gazebo, but they are a nice touch and the magnets make it easy to adjust light to where it's needed most. The bad: The canopy. As you can tell from the pictures, the fabric sagged from a rain. After dumping out the water, the sag remained. We have had previous rainfall without this issue, so it's not clear why it sagged now. But after less than three months, it's very disappointing. I now have to rig up something to counter the sag (which would likely look cheap) or buy a new canopy (which would be annoying). I contacted the manufacturer about the issue. Depending on how it is resolved, I'll update this review. For right now, the TL,DR: Great accessories, but skip the purchase if you get regular rain. ... show more

We needed a small gazebo to shelter our two small dogs from rain and hawks while they are out doing their business and this seemed to be a perfect solution. We use an 8 Section fold up gate to keep them secure under it. It’s been working out perfectly - with even enough room for one of us to stand under it too- but the only issue is (and it would be an issue with any gazebo or umbrella) is that there was a small storm that came through and it blew it over and bent one of the corners and the topper got torn up a bit (within minutes!) so I had to order a topper just after 45 days of owning this. Thankfully the replacement topper was on a daily deal and we got it for $21. Now we have the gazebo turkey tied down X3 at each leg to some heavy duty stakes and it won’t budge. My husband assembled a majority of it alone and had a little help with the topper pulling it in one side while attaching the other. We also strung some solar lights across the top and it looks so cute at night! ... show more
