The included base holder conveniently opens/closes as you remove and replace the plunger so you don't have to mess with the part that has been submerged in whatever nastiness you had to solve. Returning. Like that the plunger case opens and closes. Problem is the handle is a cheap wood, not a nice one nor a nice, thick, sturdy, "quality" plastic like it seems from the website.

I don't know if you can really "love" a plunger, but it works great, easy to use, nice to have it enclosed when storing, and it's so easy to put it back in the storage case.

The shape of the rubber diaphragm doesn't extend far enough to make a complete seal. Also, the design of the handle is pretty ineffective as it doesn't allow you to get a good grip for pushing without you putting the end of the handle into your palm, which is painful. The smooth plastic handle also makes it hard to get a firm grip on when plunging. This plunger looks nice and doesn't draw any attention to itself when not in use, which is nice, but when it comes time to stopping a clogged toilet from running over and onto the floor, I'd prefer a more effective plunger. ... show more

It is nondescript as a plunger, which is what is wanted, hiding in plain sight. The neck folds up inside, but that is what it is supposed to do. Really don't understand the complaints about this unless you are expecting something dainty and pretty to dislodge the turd stuck in the toilet. Yep, may have to touch the business end to get the neck out - no different from any other plunger that is effective. It tucks away nicely into its clamshell. If you need a plunger, this is the one to buy. It's identical to the one maintenance uses and I don't have to wait for them to come. It's a shame if you have the kind of plumbing that needs to be unclogged but many buildings have "crooked" pipes that require it. The holder works perfectly and makes it tolerable to keep in the bathroom. ... show more

I should have gone to the store and picked up a plunger but I liked the looks of this one because it had the discreet cup to hold the plunger. It has a nicely painted wood handled....HOWEVER, this company packed it in a box that was too short!!!! When I got the box, the handle was sticking out of the box and the paint was bruised. Worse than that, I suspect this thing has been sitting somewhere exposed to dirty splashes of some sort. I certainly hope it's not what it looks like. But, the cup is dirty on the outside. I'm peeling off the paper cover now. Wish I had some gloves. Here goes....it is dirty in the cup but not I no longer suspect it was used. It advertises as fashionable. Dirt is never fashionable!!
