  • Built like junk and doesn't stand behind their product
Worked twice. Broke on 3rd use. Seller and manufacturer refused to take back because purchased in Sept. So I would have when snowed. It took over 6 weeks to get a belt replaced under warranty. Should be a $7 belt. Was over $150. I'm 60 years old..besides having to crawl under it in the snow to put belt back on 2 times before it broke in 4 inches of snow, I had to shovel the rest of winter. Warranty will expire before it snows again so have no idea if just the belt even fixed it. Not even an offer from manufacturer for extending the warranty. I asked for a contact above the person answering my emails and got no response. Lot of money to spend to not be able to reach someone who cares! ... show more

  • I had problems...
The unit showed up and I was all excited. Assembly wasn't the worst. Massimo has a video on YouTube that's not all that great. Don't forget to add a quart of oil before stating it up! The problem came when I took it out for the first time. I live in NW Montana, and I had approx. 2 feet of snow on the ground. I'd been plowing my 100+ yd. long driveway but the plow wasn't pushing the snow over the berm that had built up. Hence snowblower to throw snow up and over said berm. Well, everytime the front lip of the blower caught a small protrusion of ice on the driveway, it stopped. The wheels would just spin, digging a couple ruts in the snow. I had to move the blower out of the ruts and tilt it up to get over the ice protrusion. After 50 yds. I was exhausted, that thing is heavy! I took it back to the garage and adjusted the skids on the sides to have the machine's lip ride higher. To no avail, the same problem persisted, except on the second outing, the cable the operated the clutch for the drive wheels came detached from the bottom of the unit. Either the factory installed cotter pin came out, or was never installed. After some struggle with the machine (did I mention it's HEAVY?), I got the cable reconnected and a new cotter pin installed. Now for the bright part. The wife looked up Massimo on the web and we called. They were EXTREMELY helpful and offered to pick the unit up and give us a full refund. Wow, you don't see customer service like that anymore. So although the unit did not work for me, I think someone working on a paved driveway or sidewalk would have much better results than I did. But the customer service is the best... ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY THIS SNOWBLOWER. READ THE REVIEWS
WE PURCHASED 2 OF THESE SNOWBLOWERS AND BOTH OF THE AUGER BELTS BROKE ON THE VERY FIRST USE. THE REVIEWS INDICATE THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE AUGER BELTS AND IT IS ACCURATE! MASSIMO SAYS DON'T WORRY, THEY WILL REPLACE THE BELT. THAT DOES NOT HELP IF THE BELT KEEPS BREAKING AFTER EVERY USE! im waiting for my credit $1978 before let my attorney calling you guys ... show more

  • Can't get replacement parts
I used this machine for 2 partial seasons. It's light duty but it worked fine and I was happy with it for the price. But, then I hit a rock!! The shear pin bent instead of shearing and it stripped the worm gear. I placed an order for the part in July, but it never came. I called in Sept and they said it would arrive in Oct. In Oct and Nov, I tried to call multiple times but couldn't get through. I left voicemail and also emailed them. They never answered and now I have a $1400 piece of junk. ... show more
