I purchased this to help me with recovering from a detached retina. I was required to be face down 7 days for my recovery. My retina detached multiple times and I have sat in this chair for many many long hours. Nothing will be comfortable after long periods of time, but this chair was a blessing and exceeded my expectation. It helped me remain faced down as comfortably as possible. I used other aids as well (wedge pillow for sleeping, and portable vitrectomy table unit) so that I was not always in one position or on one device.     • Great little massage chair, assembly could be tricky for the inexperienced
Received this chair just in time for Valentines Day and, so far, we really like it. It is sturdy construction and the padding is soft, comfortable, and vibrantly colored. When 'broken down' it fits easily into the travel case and is light enough to easily pack around. There are adjustments on the seat, head harness, and arm rest that make it quick and easy to find a comfortable position facing either direction. The frame is sturdy and the legs are spaced wide to prevent tipping. If I had one initial concern it would be with assembly instructions. It is a small card that shows diagrams of the assembled chair but have no text to explain the assembly. It is really simple, but for someone who was not familiar, it could be difficult. Most notably is the bolt that connects the arm rest to the frame; it is about a 31/2 inch bolt and has 2 plastic washers and a silver 'nut' that locks the pieces together. When I took the chair out of the box the bolt was on the frame but the nut had come off. Just by luck, I noticed it in the bubble wrap after I unwrapped the chair or I may have accidently thrown it away with the packaging. The instructions also dont tell you that the head rest slides in to the top bar of the frame and the twist knob on the chest pad is what locks the head harness AND the chest pad in place. ... show more

    • You are in for a decent chair but most likely a small headache!
First thing first... just know that different colors of this chair show different reviews... -It DID require assembly, which in other reviews said that it did not. The seat had to be attached to the chair base, which would normally be no big deal. Except the screw they sent for this to be done was too short. I am going out to find a replacement screw and wing nuts and then all will be well. -I read a comment from someone that said the material that covers the the chair wrinkles. I do have that going on even after using the chair just once. But the cushion seems to be a memory foam material, so that is why the material puckers. -I feel the head rest is almost out of reach for the head. It feel like I have to stretch to reach it. I think the padding in the chest plate is too thick, making it hard to place your head in the face rest. And the padding in the face rest to be too thin and not of the same cushion as the rest of the chair. but that is easily replaceable. -One note on the head rest bracket... if you find that it slips, there is a tension screw on one side. Once tightened I had zero problems there. -The chair seems very sturdy when you sit... but I noticed that the backing is all ply wood, I have worries about how the chair will hold up. -Lastly the feet of the chair are just hard plastic with NO grip. I will have to buy a small rug unless i want to be pushing clients across the floor! WHEW!! But for the money I am pleased. ... show more
