These jars are great for making jam. They look so cute so you can give them as gifts too . I hate the plain jelly jars and these really look cute with a ribbon or cord around the mouth of the jar. Will be buying again

    • Great jars but lids are not air tight.

Great value for the amount of jars you get but the lids are pretty cheap and don't screw on to be air tight. When you tighten them too much they tend to pop off. I'd recommend buying separate lids if you want these to be air tight.

I was very surprised when they came in this big box. But I love how they were packaged so they were not clanking around. The jars are good quality, the lids are easy to turn on and off (as someone with arthritis this is important). Holds materials well (so far made butter and buttermilk) 8oz of each! They also freeze well! I also love how each jar is numbered on the bottom and how they come with labels and a pen! ... show more
