Check engine light came on, showed a misfire in cylinder #4. 153,000 miles, figured it was time. Ordered these plugs and coil packs, picture said 6 pack, listing and box were 5. Picked up a 6th plug at the auto parts store and installed. Ran rough with a random misfire code on the scanner. swapped out parts with the old looking for improvement, got none. Sanded the points of the old plugs, put the old stuff back, no check engine light, runs great. The tip of the plugs is different from the OE the dealer sold me, and different from the other aftermarket that was inn the truck. There was a bent terminal on one for the coil packs that I straightened. Although the plugs say AC Delco, they don't match the oe product, that is my guess as to why it ran awfully. ... show more

We're good but we're NOT EXACT FIT for my hummer which made it pain in butt to install had to file down about 1/4 inch on each. Glad hubby knew what to do cuz my son changed them went to start truck and it could barely run. Then husband came home checked to see if they were tight and realized weren't in all way do to length of tube part. But ended up working truck still running great. All things considered would purchase again but if u had no mechanic knowledge could of been nitemare and costly. ... show more

    • 3 out of 5 coils BAD!! Not kidding. Buy only if you like misfires!
One coil was defective... after a lot of trouble shooting and money spent on other parts trying to fix the error... I rechecked the new coils and discovered the problem. Update: Another coil is bad. 2 out of 5 coils have had to be replaced. Update: 3 coils! 3 out of 5 We live in the mountains, this is the third time we have been stranded at our cabin, after the stress of misfires and rough idling to once again turned out one of these coils AGAIN. - Thinking REFUND maybe? Will update if that happens. - Otherwise no more updates from me because I am removing the final 2 coils before they create more havock and expense. Fool me once, twice, three times is too damn much. FYI: problems with the new coils bought at the parts store to replace these. ... show more
