  • Lifesaver!!!
Vehicle was dead other brands were around $300 above, this unit was clean, built within factory spec! Installation after setting the timing at TDC, took me 2.5 mins. SUV started right up! Thank You for being affordable and reliable!

The product seems to be working properly and it's been a while since the installation I like it.

  • Worked for about a month.
I purchased this to replace my '96 Pathfinder distributor which wouldn't start when the weather was damp or it was raining. It worked great for about a month then this morning I was going through a Hardee's drive thru to get a bit of breakfast & when I pulled up to the window the engine just cut off like I turned the ignition switch off. It wouldn't start back up. The Hardee's workers helped push it out of their drive thru. I called the mechanic who installed the distributor & he said there was no spark going to the plugs. Thankfully I still had the original distributor in the back of the vehicle. He changed it back to the original distributor right there in the parking lot & off I went. This is not a high quality part. ... show more

  • Ensure everything is tight
So I replaced the distributor on Monday, drove to and from the gym. Tuesday morning I left for work and about 3 blocks away my car misfires and then just dies in the middle of the street. After 4.5 hours of headache I got pissed off enough to tear apart this part only to quickly find out this little set screw was missing. I pulled the distributor out and turned it over when the screw and lock washer fell out. This means FROM THE FACTORY that screw was not properly tightened down. Got everything put back together and after $23 in parts, $45 in tools, and 4.5 hours of time I could have been working taken from me, car turned right over. ... show more

  • Saved my bacon. Great replacement!
Fit my 2003 3.3 6cyl Nissan Xterra perfectly. After trying MAF, fuel pump, IAC, and testing vacuum hoses this did the trick. Just make sure to mark the exact direction the dial is pointed and that it matches when you install the new one. After it's in you can drive it away, but make sure to adjust the timing with a timing light ASAP. (Get engine to normal operating temp, turn off all electrical inside car and mare sure nothing is plugged into the 12 sockets, rev engine to 3k rpms, then turn off the car, unplug the BOTTOM harness on the TPS only, start car, rev to 3k rpms, with timing light on 1st cyl spark wire : time to the center of the pulley with timing light and then tighten the bolt on the distributor, turn off engine, connect the bottom harness on the TPS and start car. You're done! Not sure how long this will last, until I repair my factory one this is doing a great job so far :) ... show more

  • Distributor does not work
I received my distributor and the first thing I noticed was that the plastic cover came with a crack. Then, when my mechanic installed and we started the car, it wouldn't start, we tried it with another distributor that my mechanic had and the car started without problems. So we conclude that this is bad. ... show more
