  • Excellent all purpose epoxy
Size: 2 Gallon
I have been using Stonecoat Countertops products and get consistently excellent results but they are not the fastest when it comes to shipping. Mas Art Pro ships faster and is just as easy to use plus you can do thicker pours. For thin pours on flat surfaces I use same techniques as Stonecoat (1/8" square notch trowel, "chop" in with nylon bristle brush, etc.) and get comparable results. Stonecoat claims to be more heat resistant but that is not an issue for most projects. I have used the Art Pro for countertops (over existing laminate), shower walls (using 1/2" extruded foam insulation board as base) and even used it to cast a shower pan doing multiple pours to build up to 1.25" thickness. So far no failures and the long working time gives plenty of time to play with your design before it sets up. I still like Stonecoat for kitchens due to better heat resistance but Art Pro in my new favorite for everything else. ... show more

  • 5-Star Resin - Better than the Competition for Many Reasons
Size: 2 Gallon
I am a full-time, Gallery-represented resin artist who’s work has been featured on HBO, Bravo, Apple TV+ & Netflix shows as well as in movies. I have worked with a variety of resins over the years and, at this point, consider Art Pro to be the very best for abstract works. First off, the price is affordable compared to Art Resin (my old-favorite). Second, the customer care of the Mas Epoxy employees is first rate. Paige, their Director of Sales, spent over an hour communicating with me about their products - to which I greatly appreciate. Third, I’ll admit I was a little concerned about the higher viscosity of the Art Pro resin vs Art Resin, however when using it, it’s flow characteristics were far superior and allowed me to create the designs I desired - and then, due to its thickness, the designs stayed put and didn’t flow off the sides like competitors resin does - which is always very frustrating (not to mention a costly waste of materials). Fourth, when creating ocean art, the thicker resin enables expanding & holding the beautiful cellular structures of the inks and pigments used in order to create luxurious waves. Fifth, the thickness of the Art Pro resin also protects my white alcohol inks from burning when using my heat gun or torch - which, with Art Resin, causes yellowing quickly because the inks burn quite fast. Sixth, the product does not have a bad smell like some others I’ve used. Overall, I highly recommend this product over all the others I’ve used to create art and have now switched my resin purchases for my artworks over to Mas Epoxies. Thank you again Paige for all your help and assistance in switching me from my old resin to yours! I’m eternally grateful! Christina ... show more

  • Highly recommended
Size: 1 Gallon
I really love how easy to use MAS Art Pro Epoxy Resin and Hardener is. I can mix it with just about anything and get amazing results! Is is crystal clear when it dries. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure the epoxy is COMPLETELY dry before adding more on top or it will remain tacky. I have included one photo of a partially finished picture that I’m making, that shows how clear the epoxy is over wood and the transparency when certain colors are added! The finished product will be amazing! ... show more

  • Great for Art Pours!
Size: 2 Quart
I only use Epoxy Resin for Art pours on wood! This stuff is pretty pricey but results makes it all worth it! OMG! it is VERY messy so please wear gloves and clothes you don't mind messing up! It is very sticky and I have to scrub it off of my skin in the shower with a brillo sponge. It is not toxic so no fumes to worry about. However if you are using for Art work... make sure temp in the home or work space is about 75 degrees and higher if you can handle it. By the next day the paintings looks a bit different but still amazing and is fully cured in 3 days. I personally think it's best used on wood vs canvas for are work... but that's just me. I know many places have it, however for the time to ship and a decent price-Amazon has worked best. I can't find it in Lowes or Home Depot in store. I see it online but still super pricey. ... show more

  • Awesome Resin!
Size: 1 Gallon
I've been on a quest to find an affordable, reliable resin for crafts (jewelry making, molds, etc). I was previously using UV resin from Amazon sellers and so frustrated with inconsistent results like the resin warping, remaining tacky or shrinking in the mold. I was a little intimidated to start with two part epoxy, but I have fallen in love. This Art Pro is a simple 1 to 1 mix by volume- I combine both in a disposable cup and mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes, scraping sides and bottom as I go. Then, I transfer to another cup and mix again for another 2 minutes. After that, I wait a bit to let any bubbles rise to the top, and I'm good to go! If I'm using resin to fill molds, I will use the flame from a long BBQ lighter to pop any remaining bubbles at the end. It usually takes about 8-12 hrs before I can gently unmold (it may take another day or so to fully harden). I have been SO happy with the results. My pieces end up crystal clear (remember a torch, heat gun or lighter helps with bubbles), rock hard and just gorgeous. They also include a little FAQ/instruction sheet that should help with any possible issues. Give it a try and hopefully you'll like it as much as I do! ... show more

  • Love this resin!
Size: 2 Gallon
If you are a beginner in resin art this isn't for you. but if you are experienced in resin art this is definitely the resin for you. It is thick and yummy, I don't smell any odor either. Every piece I have made is crystal clear and no bubbles... It does bubble a lot when you mix it, but it has a 60 minute working time,,,so I let it rest for 15 minutes after I mix it and that takes care of the bubble problem. I truly won't go back to any other resin again... getting ready to place my 3rd order with these people. ... show more

  • Would not Recommend
Size: 2 Gallon
This was my first attempt at doing countertops with epoxy. It went really well and looked great. However, over time it has yellowed considerably so I would not recommend using it for that type of project. My order was placed 4/2020. By 2022 it is now quite yellow and I am disappointed. I tried a different project for another epoxy counter transformation (Pro Glas) and didn't have the same issue with yellowing. ... show more
