That headline isn't comic book noises, it is me cursing at how difficult the back was to attach to the seat. But I'm getting ahead of myself... There is a lot to like about this chair. Unfortunately, there is also a lot to dislike or even hate. The main thing to like about this chair is how it looks. I mean, just look at it. It's awesome. Once I FINALLY assembled it, it reclined like how it was supposed to and has some nice features like the adjustable arms being able to be moved at different angles like \, |, or / and up and down. I also like that you can rock in this chair if you want to. However, I was one of the unlucky ones where I got a defective chair. I put it togther, following the instructions, and as you can see in the pictures it just wasn't lining up properly. Most of the chair is pretty easy to put together but once you get to the step where you have to attach the back to the seat, you're in for a headache. Honestly, I don't know why they designed it like this. I had a previous computer chair that had one piece that was like an L bracket to attach the back and seat together and it was SO easy to assemble. Not this one. Between the difficulty of attaching the back to the seat and how my first one was defective, I must have put it together and taken it apart about a dozen times. Oh, and as you can see in the pictures there was a bit of a dent and a scratch or something in the pleather, so I wasn't too happy about that, either. When I finally gave up I contacted customer support and they tried their best to help me and make sure it wasn't human error as to why the chair wasn't lining up correctly. They were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process of ordering a new chair for replacement and getting a return label. I haven't sent the first chair back yet because I'm out of packing tape, so I may change my opinion once it does get sent back and I see how long it takes to get a refund, but as of right now that is the other part about this chair I liked a lot: The customer support. I ordered my second chair and got it really quickly (I got the first really quickly as well). I was praying there wouldn't be any problems with it and I put it together and this one was just as difficult to assemble but at least there wasn't anything wrong with it. I was really hoping that there would be more cushioning to it overall but it feels as if there is just a little bit of foam around the metal frame, so, unfortunately, that does affect the comfort of the chair. The back of the first chair seemed to have less padding around the metal frame than the second one, so it could be a manufacturing issue. If you're a thicker person and have more padding (fat) it probably wouldn't be a problem but I'm kind of boney and sensitive in these areas so it hurt my shoulders, thighs, and butt. The seat of the chair is comfortable enough but again, not much cushioning and I'm bummed I need to buy a separate seat cushion to make it more comfortable because that detracts from the overall look of the chair. I literally sat in it for nearly 24 hours straight playing video games (I have issues, I know) only getting up every now and then to stretch, get something to eat, or use the bathroom so the part about "continuous support for long hours of sitting comfortable" is not true. Again, it could be because I'm boney, so your experience may be different. I also am not entirely sure that any part of it is memory foam. I've had memory foam pillows and mattress so I know what memory foam feels like and this doesn't feel quite the same. It is definitely foam, but not necessarily MEMORY foam. The lumbar and neck pillows are comfortable and work well, but again neither of them is memory foam for sure. The lumbar pillow is just run of the mill foam and the neck pillow is just stuffing. A nice feature that isn't listed is that both have zippers so if you want to open it and add, subtract, or replace the stuffing you can for the neck pillow and while the lumbar pillow is one solid piece of foam it is good to know that if I wanted to I could replace it with something else. The pleather material feels nice but I did notice I felt a bit warmer than usual sitting in this chair. Also, I would recommend wiping the whole chair and pillows with a damp washcloth because there was some kind of residue on the pleather. It was easily removed, though. That is another good feature about this chair: It is easy to clean if the need arises. There is also plenty of room and the back is nice a high. I'm 6'3 235 so I'm a relatively big guy and had no problem fitting in the chair and it feels like it is sturdy and can support my weight. I am slightly concerned about how long the seat cushion may last, though. And yes, I know I said I'm boney and I am but all of my fat is in my stomach lol. The adjustable back is great so you can adjust it to how you would like depending on if you're sitting up, want to recline a bit, etc. I wouldn't recommend putting it back too far, though because when I put it back almost as far as it could go (I'm pretty sure it could have gone further) I almost tipped backward. I also can't imagine how anyone could ever sleep in this chair. The arm rests are good and like I said I like they have adjustable angles and can go up and down. They're soft, but not too soft and are comfortable. I think that covers just about everything. When all is said and done, I would say that I like the chair a lot and the help I got from customer support definitely improves my rating because if they weren't helpful I would have just said "Forget this!" and returned it and gave it a horrible review. I don't LOVE the chair though, which is disappointing. I realize that sometimes products are defective so I'm not holding that against Neo Chair, but it was way too difficult to assemble (and I'm no novice) and isn't nearly as comfortable as I was hoping it would be. So if you are skinny and/or boney, you might want to find another chair, but if you're thicker or not as sensitive it probably won't be a problem. Definitely the worst thing about this chair is assembling it, but I still would recommend it. ... show more

when I bought this for my husband he instantly loved it! It was fairly easy to put together, and it’s super comfy to sit in. The material is amazing and the quality is excellent.     • Great Gift! But Quick Warning...

Make sure you receive all parts prior to assembling! Half way through, I realized I was missing the main part that holds the base to the back rest, and I contacted the seller. They provided excellent customer service, and responded to my message within 24 hours. I docked a star because of the missing part, but this definitely would have been 5 stars if it wasn't for that. The seller shipped the part to me at no cost to me, and they even provided tracking information. Once the part was received, I had to assemble the chair upside down because that's what was recommended on the manual. (The manual by the way was comic book themed and easy to follow) Surprisingly, the cardboard box it came in was sturdy enough to hold the base seat up while I held on to the backrest. If it wasn't for the box, I would have had a difficult time assembling this by myself. Ideally, if you had three people assembling this (one holding the bottom seat part, one person holding the back rest, and the last person screwing the sides on) that would make this assembly so much easier. Doing that part alone was a little challenging. Now on to the good stuff; the vibrating massage pillow was a really nice surprise. The chair itself is sturdy and has no issues supporting my 230lbs boyfriend. All parts received were brand new with no cosmetic damage. The chair reclines. It's a beautiful chair and looks expensive. It's definitely the perfect gift for any gamer who loves [iron man] or whichever one you choose. If you're debating whether or not you should buy this chair, I say go for it! Especially if you're gifting it, THEY'RE GOING TO LOVE IT. Just make sure you purchase it ahead of time in case there are any issues. ... show more

I ordered Iron Man and got the Panther chair. By the time I realized it, sending it back isn't possible as I tore open the box. So, in the future, please make sure I get the right chair!!! Other than that, it's a great chair. Not the first time I've ordered a Neo chair and they work well for me. But I'd sure like to get the chair I order in the future! That's why I put one star.
