  • Easy, looks beautiful but only from normal angles
Size: 60" Color: Skyline Walnut
Very easy assembly (not recommended for just drywall without studs behind it); it’s really heavy in and of itself (50lbs). Also, really not recommended for mounting high on a wall. A) difficult to hold above your head. B) looks awful from below! We mounted ours really high for childproofing reasons. It looks so bad we’re taking it back down. Pic attached so you know what I mean. ... show more

  • Good quality, clean looking shelf
Size: 48" Color: Black
I bought this shelf as a discounted “used” item, but everything appeared to be brand new when I opened the box. It was nicely packaged and had very easy directions to follow. It’s the perfect addition to my home office/gaming setup, and it looks nice and clean with no exposed cables. The screws provided for mounting the bracket to the wall studs were quite long and you might want to pre-drill a hole in the studs using a drill bit. Very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • NEED BETTER QUALITY CHECKS!
Size: 48" Color: Black
I'm no novice when it comes to building furniture kits, so this should've been an easy job.... It look me 6-7 HOURS to get it all done due to various manufacturing problems with this product. Also, you're probably gonna need your drill a lot for this one... 1.) Center divider piece had pre-drilled holes where the cam lock dowels are supposed to be inserted... problem is the holes did not get drilled far enough to reach where the cam locks! I had to figure out what drill bit to use and drill out the holes through myself! See accompanied photos for the lack of holes... 2.) The other side pieces thankfully had holes for the cam dowels to go through.... except they are off-centered so much that the cam locks cannot turn and lock onto the dowels. ONCE AGAIN, I had to take out the drill and slightly shave down the pre-drilled hole so the dowels could be centered ever so slightly until the cam locks could successfully engage the dowels. (See photos...) 3.) More misaligned pre-drilled holes... I had to slightly shave down another pre-drilled hole so the hilo screw could actually reach the barrel nut. 4.) The instructions didn't say what size drill bit to use for the stud screws. 5.) When mounting the console onto the wall cleat, make sure where the stud screws are placed... I was sure I had the screws that went into the studs in a good place that wouldnt interfere with where the L brackets would slide into, but didn't anticipate the inner L bracket getting blocked by one of the stud screws. I had to take one of the top stud screws out just so I could mount the console (see last photo). I really don't like the idea of one side being supported by only one screw. Hoping the other 2 studs will have to do. Perhaps consider making the heads of the stud screws flat so that it could be flush and won't interfere with the L bracket sliding over it. 6.) ALSO MORE DRILLING, I had to drill my own holes into the wall cleat just so it'd all match up to the studs in the wall. I really wish the instructions had this sort of information if drilling your own holes here was safe or recommended or not. For $180, I expected this to be at least decently made without the customer having to make any modifications just to get it built as per included instructions. I really liked the look and style of this piece, but just the whole process of one manufacturing nuisance after the next soured my experience. Future buyers beware. ... show more

  • Disappointing cheap particle board.
Size: 48" Color: Black
For $200 you would think this little thing would be made of higher quality. Whoever designed this thing definitely was not thinking straight. The bottom of the top board has exposed particle board so it crumbles down to the bottom board, and so that means if you have a receiver with a vent on top you will get particle board dust inside your receiver... awesome. I ended up just using electrical tape on the exposed particle board sides, which I shouldn't have had to do. Overall it does look nice, but it's overpriced. Only get this thing if you can't find anything else that suits your tastes. I really like how small it is and the style, just wish it was made of higher quality parts. ... show more

  • Love it, sturdy, easy assembly
Size: 60" Color: Skyline Walnut
I put this together and mounted it myself, and I'm a 5'3" small woman. Although I do a lot of junk around the house so mounting things isn't a foreign or scary thing to do. Anyone else I would urge help getting everything straight, I'd recommend a good level and someone to hold things for you while you mark. If you can't find studs yourself, get a small stud finder. I'm kind of obsessive compulsive, I hung the TV and this the same day and it took a long time just because I wanted the spacing and centering to be spot on. The only thing that bothers me is the unfinished parts I can see that apparently no one of else notices. It sure did exactly what I wanted and made our bedroom a lot more airy and feel more relaxing. Photo isn't the greatest, I promise the greyish wood looks great in person. And excuse the gaming console cord, we move that from room to room. Only complaint is the "hole" for cords is useless. And if you're mounting it like I did get some cord covers/tracks/whatever they're called. ... show more

  • Good Solid Floating AV Shelf
Size: 48" Color: Black
Pretty happy with this purchase. I got the 48 inch one, it arrived undamaged and packaged really well. Assembly took only a few minutes. Mounting the support board on the wall was easy enough, just need to keep it level. There are enough pre-drilled holes in the back board that I was able to hit a couple studs easily enough. The shelf itself has a couple 90 degree brackets that hold it to the support board and it seems to hold it pretty securely. So far I have had no bending or pulling away from the wall due to weight so pretty happy. The one thing that I don't like is that it's pretty chunky. LIke there's no curves it's all right angles and bulky looking and the inside edges are not finished. So you want to be looking downward towards it when seated rather than looking upwards at it or you'll see all those unfinished edges inside of it. Overall happy with it, as long as it keeps staying in place and doesn't start to pull away from the wall i'll be a happy camper. I suppose if you were loading it up, it would be possible to add more 90 degree brackets to hold it more securely to the supporting board. ... show more
