The media could not be loaded. Mars Hydros lights are working exceptionally well for my garden and I! I love the fact that you can tell how well the plants thrive under their light compared to flourescents I have used. I am also very pleased with the design of the light as it is very efficient in the light output and area light saturation. The suggestion for using a fan works perfectly as it keeps the lights very cool. I love the capability to dim the lights to the intensity you want as well. This dimming option allows your light to be the right intensity in all stages of growing and is an exceptional option to have! The ability to dim was one of the buying points, which brings me to how much I enjoy the "daisy-chaining" capability! It's nice to know your lights are all set equally the same. I was actually so pleased with the exceptional quality and design, that I talked myself into purchasing another model, the TSL-2000. I can literally say that, I've never seen anything more magnificent! As before mentioned, I love the "daisy- chaining" functionality! In conclusion, I would greatly recommend your products! I enjoy both the TS-1000 and the TSL-2000 that your company has created, as do my plants! They both carry efficiency on not only cost but light output as well! I also greatly appreciate the suggestions on hanging distance, cal-mag supplementation and climate information. I only hope to one day enjoy the experience of your more expensive models for helping create the beauty of life that we know as plants! The media could not be loaded. This is my first grow light that I have in both tents .. one being a 2.3ftx 2.3ftx 63in .. and the other is 32x32x63 and this light is big enough for up to a 3x3 .. I highly recommend mars hydro anything.. yes it is made in China but my opinion is its the best of the cheap companies 😆 .. great light great price with great result .. IL add a pic or 2 of the bud it grew .. happy growing ✌️ ... show more

After researching many different grow lights, and not wanting to break the bank, I decided on the Mars Hydro TS 1000. When it first arrived, just taking it out of the box made it clear that no corners were cut in terms of quality. It's very well made, set up was a breeze, and as for output I'm currently finishing up two patio girls, three weeks into flower, which needed brought in due to colder weather. PRO's - Price, great bang for the buck. Bright, LED's get warm but not hot. Dimmable - great for seedlings, veg..ok for flower. Cost effective. Great for beginners, but if your going to be growing more than 2 plants later on down the line (cannabis) I'd go for something bigger. CONS - The Driver gets hot to the touch..I know it's meant to, but makes me uneasy knowing something is getting that hot in a closed unoccupied room. They say 2-4 Plants is ok..I'm going to say 2 Only (with my type of plants) 4 Small plants would be ok, less than 1 ft, mine will be in the 4-5 ft range...their's no way the TS1000 would adequately cover 4 of those plants..for my liking anyway. ... show more

—*update, just bought a second one of these. Just the light for 129.99, not the kit, since I don’t need the accessories this time. Will update to say if second light is as good etc.* Really great light for the price. Does get a little warm, but not hot. Has a ballast, so even light distribution, and silent due to having the ballast. Advertised to not need a fan due to the aluminum reflector (and probably the ballast), but I have one fan angled above light to fan the light (as a precaution) and plants at the same time, and a separate fan for plants alone. Very bright and the ladies love the s-word out of it. Nice to have the PH/moisture reader. I emailed the company about warranty and if parts are replaceable after warranty when lights eventually burn out, and parts are replaceable, which is important to me so that the light isn’t a piece of unusable, unrecylable piece of junk when it burns out. Big deal to me. Way better than the first blurple light I bought ( which I now use as supplemental light in flower, or to use on a separate new sprout/early veg state plant) and way more reliable for even light output and watt equivalent light output. I’d recommend for newbies or seasoned growers. ... show more

So far so good. Works as advertised. The heat dissipates via the metal housing just fine. The light output is as advertised, and is suitable for seeding through vegetation/bloom stages, its pretty bright, and covers about a 4x4 space easily. The dimmer works well also. The wires from the ballast and dimmer are long, but are designed to be removed if one would like to mount them away from the unit if needed. This is good if your grow space is overly moist or humid, or you are OCD about the organization of your space. It comes with everything needed to hang it, and was easy to set up. I own a few separate units of different brands in the 1000w equivalent range, The Mars Hydro is by gar the best bang for the buck so far. When I expand I will buy more. ... show more

I bought this light for my 3x3 tent. It has a dimmer knob and a bypass switch for it. It's very bright for a smaller light. The light does get a bit hot at 100%, but I keep it around 75% right now. My plants are actually doing better under this light than OUTSIDE! Granted, I don't have the greatest light at my property...but still, I was very surprised to see my plants take off when under this light. They seem to absolutely LOVE IT. Highly recommend for a small space. You can also daisy chain, so that's helpful. ... show more
