After several frustrating weeks trying to repair a small crack in a polyethylene hot tub Marine Sealant did the trick. The consistency was perfect to adhere and seal a small aluminum patch over the crack. It did take about a week to cure but remains pliable enough to move as the tub expands and contracts. Be sure to check the expiration date on the bottom of the tube. I purchased one in November and it has an expiration date of 8/2023. Can’t be returned or replaced.

I don't know why this glue was rated so well. I got the clear. I tried it on several areas of my fountain (inside and out) that I sculpted and waited 14 days for it to cure. It leaked within an hour after turning on the fountain. It didn't work on any area I applied it to. The white stuff, another brand, that I got at Lowes worked, but I just didn't want white.
