Description

Gorilla Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a tough, versatile, all-weather adhesive. The 100% adhesive formula provides a long-lasting, heavy duty bond. We call it All Surface, All Purpose. The gap-filling, durable, 100% waterproof adhesive formula is perfect for indoor and outdoor projects, holds in 30 seconds, and bonds virtually anything including subfloor, mirrors, trim, drywall, landscaping, bath surrounds, foamboard, marble and more!Not recommended for use on polyethylene, polypropylene, bitumen or similar materials.DIRECTIONS:All surfaces should be clean and free of dirt, grease and oil. Best if used above 40°F.1. Apply adhesive to one surface in a zig-zag pattern or inside perimeter of the object. Be careful of squeeze-out. When working on rough, uneven surfaces, use enough adhesive to fill gaps.2. Within 10 minutes, press surfaces together and hold for 20-30 seconds. NOTE: Heavy items may require temporary support. Use in conjunction with mechanical fasteners when hanging large mirrors.3. Allow 24 hours to cure. My mother had this concrete garden statue consisting of a Madonna inside a little niche. Mind you, the niche weighs about 25 pounds. Anyway, it’s nearly 30 years old and when we picked it up to paint it the base came away from the structure. The break was pretty clean but both surfaces were rough concrete, wasn’t sure if this would bind such a heavy structure without a smooth surface to bind to. So I lathered a fairly heavy amount of this adhesive put the two together, and let it stand for 3 day's. To be on the safe side after the set period, I held the structure up in place just to be sure the bond was strong and it held. The photo shows the niche repaired, the Madonna in place, all with a fresh coat of paint. Mom was thrilled, it looks like new! ... show more

I have a hot tub where some of the outer decorative wood panels have come off. They adhere to a foam backing that is slightly tacky. I’ve tried adhesive is caulk guns and the panels wouldn’t re-attach. They kept falling off again. I tried this stuff. I put it in the sun to soften it up before application as recommended by others. I applied. Waited five minutes. Put panels back in place and supported the bottoms of them to help keep them in place and they have stayed in place! Finally problem solved. This stuff worked great for what I needed it for and would recommend based on my experience with it. ... show more
