  • Does not perform to The original specs of a crusader 350 fuel pump 6 to 7 pounds fuel pressure
The product did not perform to the original specs for the crusader 350 fuel pump. The fuel pressure on this pump would only put out 4 1/2 pounds. The original specs are 6 to 7 pounds, took us forever to figure out why the motor would run for a while and then just die out because there was not enough gas pressure to keep the carburetor full. I know I cant sent this fuel pump back because it after the return date but inform the manufacturer who sent of this fuel pump that it doesn’t produce the correct gas pressure so other people won’t run into the same problem. ... show more

  • Works on crusader 1982 305/220hp.
Pump was not an exact fit which caused me some problems. The flange is thicker, making me look for longer bolts. I was 60min round trip from a hardware store. Additionally, it has a vent tube, not a plug for when the diaphragm ruptures. Luckily my carb had the location to connect a vent tube. I just had to buy one. ... show more

  • Too much fuel pressure
Bought two of these, to use with chevy 305s with Rochester carbs. One is putting out 19 psi and flooded... everything. The other puts out 10 psi which is still more than most sbc need or can handle but at least it's not flooding... yet. Certainly not going to trust these offshore. A refund would be great but I highly doubt the seller will stand behind this. Ever changed a fuel pump in a twin direct drive boat??? Not fun... pay more for a quality pump! ... show more
