We purchased this trampoline for our incredibly active 6 year old for Christmas. What an incredible gift it has turned out to be! Where we live the winters are cold and harsh and it can be hard to give our active little guy enough space and time to get his energy out. We chose it because it was bigger than the trampolines marketed to children - and it is the perfect size for him to use now and as he grows. Even his 6th grade brother enjoys bouncing on it occasionally. This trampoline fits in our living room and he jumps on it almost every day (even now, 3 months after he got it). My husband and brother put it together in about a half an hour. It was fairly simple to assemble since they had 2 people working on it, but required some strength on their part. Not sure I could have assembled it on my own. Just a note - the box it's delivered in has a large picture on the front. If you're purchasing for a gift, any surprise may be spoiled if the recipient happens to see the box before you can get it safely hidden away. ... show more

My son loves this trampoline. The first one lasted over 2 years and it withstood all the abuse he put it through. I bought him a second one for Christmas and it is just as well made. He loves jumping and uses it multiple times a day, the mesh never began to show wear. He also likes to disassemble, rip and tear his personal belongings, but this trampoline withstood it all! I washed it regularly with dish soap and the hose, left it in the sun to dry, and never saw any signs of rust. I like that it has no springs, and the elastic bands are very strong. It is relatively easy to pop open, although I needed help from another adult to do it. I did have to replace it because he eventually broke through several of the elastic bands, but even this took him many months of gradual picking and tearing. ... show more

This is a great product. Firstly, it was easy to assemble. I did it with my 10 yr old son in about 5 mins. It was literally a case of opening out the base until it clicked into place and then screwing on the 6 legs. The jumping space is larger than my son's mini trampoline. He has one by Yourk fitness. It is whisper quiet and the bounce is soft. I really like it. My son's is springs.. I much prefer the cords. The bounce is more comfortable for me. And for the price of this and free shipping I am certainly glad that I didn't shell out 3 or 4 times the money on a more expensive brand name. Super happy with this purchase. :))) 4/1/2013 I have had this product for a few weeks now and have graduated from basic bouncing to urban rebounding workouts (compilation 1, so they are basic workouts). The bounce on the marcy is too soft to allow me to keep up with the pace of the workouts. i am 5'6" and currently 158 lbs. after 30 mins i had to stop as I was feeling some pressure in my right ankle and I was going at a slower pace than the workout due to the softer bounce. whilst i was still dripping with sweat, i just generally felt that my workout wasn't as effective as it could have been. I tried it with sneakers and barefooted. No joy. So as much as i originally liked it, the marcy is not suited to what i want to do workout wise. I am giving it to my 67 yr old mom as it comes with a stabilizer bar for her to hold on to and she will just being doing basic bouncing to help improve her overall fitness and balance. she also likes the soft bounce of it. It helps too that she's only just over 100lbs in weight. I will go back to the urban rebounder to do their workouts. I think the reviewer who said you need their rebounder to do their workouts was right. the bounce is firmer and allows you to keep up with the routines on the dvd's. The marcy is quieter but its not suited to fast paced cardio workouts in my opinion. ... show more

It's ok for doing the health bounce but not good if you want to do more advance moves and jumps. There is not a lot of space on it and you cant jump to high on it. the bars are unstable, its difficult to fold up after using, I still have not been able to unfold it. It wasn't hard to unfold it to use it. Its also very difficult to take the bars off, have not been able to push the buttons in to do that either. The entire mat is mesh, would be better if it had bungee cords or even springs, you probably would be able to get a better bounce. Its not that comfortable if you are bare feet so I use a yoga mat when not wearing shoes and it feel much better for bouncing. Make sure you always check the legs before bouncing as they do get lose. I would recommend this for someone who has just started rebounding and do not plan to do any cardio workouts because of the space and as stated earlier it don't give a good bounce. The bars was a pain to put on also, its hard to line the holes up to put the screws in. I bought two of them, one for me and one for my mother. She also would like a larger one and we both have ordered a Belicon, I plan to put this one in my office at work or give it away. ... show more
