  • Great product at an affordable price
This home gym comes with everything but a bench, barbell, and weights. You still have to purchase those items separately but your still able to build some GAINS with this unit alone. Materials: The product weight is 137.5 pounds and made from alloy steel which is powder coated in black. The home gym ships in a two box set with a thousand parts for assembly. 😃 Follow the instruction manual and diagrams, and tighten screws and bolts when directed. Build: [Time: 2 to 3 hours] Please do your back a favor and have a family member and/or friend help you put this together. The bolts can be tighten down with a 5/8 socket wrench which will be much faster than using an adjustable wrench. Performance: Pull-ups bars. There are two separate bars which are bolted together but feel sturdy when doing both chin-ups and wide grip pull-ups. The bars hold my weight (200lbs) nicely but it definitely helps to perform the exercise using strict form without swaying. Cables. The pulley system feels more like a 1 to 1.5 weight ratio (than product description 1:1) in terms of resistance but a little WD40 or grease on the metal post should help. Metal knurl handles. The dip station supports my weight and feels nice, and sturdy (I'm 5'9 and 200lbs). I place the handle bars on the outside slotted posts but the bars can be placed within the inside depending on your preference. I experience more stability with the bars placed on the outside. Quality: The materials within this price range, have stood up under the recommended weight limits and practical use so far. However, the product will creak and sway; especially, if you do not have stored weights to offset the structure when doing lateral movements. Conclusion: I wanted a home gym primarily for doing pull-ups and dips. I was actually looking to purchase an outdoor pull-up and dip station but ended up buying this instead. I think this a great product worth buying; especially, if you want to workout from the privacy and comfort of your own home. ... show more

  • Decent quality, great price
Great product with clear instructions for assembly. From my perspective, all parts are of decent quality and should last a long time. The client support team is also responsive and polite. I wish the product were a little taller, but I knew the dimensions before purchasing, so I still give it a 10/10. ... show more

  • Worth the money
Been training very long time, I "grew up" in GYMS, but switched to training at home bc the environment at "fitness centers" was counterproductive. (Those on the fence consider this: Cost to set up your own home gym was same as membership = NO "Are you using that?", NO equipment hogs (who dont even use machines right), No attitudes etc) This rack gets the job done for most part. If youre used to training heavy and will be at home a rack like this with safety catches is a must. It's a little tight inside the cage but it works, you can squat easily and bench no problem. Cable system is decent allows for most types of exercises - some things you have to be creative on. The lower pulley should've had a height adjust vs being fixed: cable is set too low doing seated row for example, I actually have to sit on a 35lb plate. There's no apparatus to hold you down for Pulldowns The Pull-Up bar is decent but removed the padding bc as they compress they alter your grip - actually makes a big difference Hindsight I prob should've gotten model that also has "Smith Machine" type system to do Calf Raises(Currently let bar "ride" against the uprights that are covered to prevent scratching/wear) and Leg Presses (Maybe Marcy can make it as an add-on attachment) but again this does get the job done. Add in a Land-Mine and you should be good ... show more

  • Great value for your money; pretty much all you need for a full body workout
This is the best squat rack for the price. 1) Pulley system is sturdy and smooth as long as it is properly loaded. I load approximately 100lbs without any issues. 2) Size is perfect for me to squat comfortably, but I am only 5'6. I recommend a 7ft squat bar. 3) Pull up bars are sturdy with a comfortable grip. 4) The attachments for the pulley initially felt light and somewhat cheap, however, they have held up surprisingly well. This would be inexpensive to upgrade down the line as needed. 5) Dip bars are also sturdy but again, I am not a big/heavy person. Minor flaws: 1) the J hooks don't feel like the most sturdy pieces, as they can wiggle a bit when racking the weight. They are also angled slightly downward once mounted, so the bar always rolls toward the edge. The end of the J hook obviously keeps the bar from rolling off, so this shouldn't be a safety issue. 2) The space for storing your weights is slippery if you are using metal plates, which can be annoying. I fixed this issue by applying electrical tape over the portion of the rack that the metal plates sit on. This prevents them from sliding, keeping them upright. 3) You can't deadlift inside of the cage, since the lower part of the cage frame is too high for standard size plates to touch the ground. I suppose you can do so within a partial range, allowing the bar to lower to the frame. This squat rack has made my time during quarantine much more productive and I couldn't be happier I bought it! ... show more
