I've been very, very pleased with this bag. It's extremely durable, highly water resistant, and great value for money. I say "highly water resistant" because I've never completely submerged it. But it's been in plenty of wet conditions and I've never had wet clothes. Highly recommended!

Let me tell you, it doesn't get more waterproof then this. this bag is so secure I mean it is a genius product. I would be absolutely shocked if someone were to tell me they got their belongings wet even when using this. It is very clear about how to use it and easy to pack and take with you or put in a suitcase which is really nice and it fits so many things in there. I used this in the rainforest in South America and I would just toss things in there like it was nothing and then roll it up, clamp it, and then I'm off. It looks very pretty and you can tell from the quality it is made of that it is very durable and the material is also tough so tearing a hole through it would be pretty hard. ... show more

I bought this in preparation for a kayaking trip. I ended up flipping my kayak and this kept my things dry! I had the bag attached to my kayak so I’m not sure if it floats as advertised. It does fill with air when you roll it up but seems to deflate a bit over time. Loved the size and the backpack straps. This made for very easy transport both at the airport and on the river. Many dry bags have a single strap or worse one that snaps to the fold up portion stretching out the fold that needs to be water resistant. This has a solid grab handle, 2 full backpack straps, and a waste strap to hold it. Pros Works great for travel via air and river Color selection makes it easy to spot or not Simple grab handles and/or backpack straps Size fit my tent with space or my sleeping bag without space but not both. Cons While I had no real water intrusion there could be an improvement on the fold mechanism by adding some grippy material I have on other bags. A small pocket near the top inside would be a nice addition to prevent small items from falling to the bottom. Kept my stuff dry on the river for 7 days even after going through as a checked bag at tje airport. It was easy to spot at the airport or at camp site so it was not left behind. Bought this for a 3 day river kayak camping trip. It was stuffed, scraped, banged on rocks, poked by sticks. Looks as good today as it did when I received it and it kept my stuff clean and dry. I've had great success with Marchway dry bags. Bonus - this print really stands out!

bought nov 22 2022 as noted below, i sadly had to cut the shoulder straps off as this was always bought w intention of usage inside my 36l outdoor products hiking backpack well, this dry bag still works welll as the durable inner gab for my hiking backpack still keeps contents dry when needed helps reduce wear/tear on my hiking backpacks rather thin bottom will buy as a beach bag when i need a beach bag as im surrounded by 'em g8 bag g8 value oh and it is now juen 13th 2023 as of this review update, daily usage in my backpack note i have not clipped it shut daily - that only done a couple of times so cannot speak to buckle durability but they seem like your standard heavy duty plastic buckles so i dont see why they would ever fail no reason to buy sea to summit brand or similar as this bag is as good albeit far heavier but mabye this brand sells a lighter version/thinner version. agian this bag is made to be a stnadalone dry bag in a kayak etc i think. so much thicker than my 5L sea to summit bag (which has withstood 8 years of use as my 13 inch laoptop bag) Sadly the straps are not removable seriously i am sad about this as they are so thick and well made i was sad to cut them off lol why? cuz they are so heavy, so padded, that they added seemingly a half or 2/3 lb to my backpack this dry bag is perfect for my 36L hiking backpack with just 1 pocket. i put this 40L dry bag in and it def will add durability esp to bottom of my backpack as i carry electronics laptops etc in it i didnt want to cut the straps cuz of how nice n sturdy they seemed but had to the folding top and closure buckles seem heavy duty the bag is thick dunno thickness but a couple to seve mm?? my sea to summit 5L drybag is prob a 1/3 thick but then again thatbag is meant for inside a backpack or other bag and not as a standalone bag i thik. this orang 40l could easily last by itself - a reviewer in Hi said they've used it for a long time which is why i bought it - they said it lasted beaches salt air etc so i know it can last inside a backpack lol anit is same thickness if not more as my 20L dry bags from Outdoor products - a value brand you can get at walmart whose products all have LIFETIME warranty!!! OP products is also my backpack brand. i have 3 of their bakcpacks. they will always replace your item even years later. i knos cuuze ive done this on 2 items. one was for a frayed chsest strap & other leaking water puch. - point is this 40L orange bag seems as good as OP... will update over time and nope aint gonna fix typos lol ... show more
