4 stars because I'm not the biggest fan of the scent. I got this mask on sale for like 5 or 6 dollars, but now I will buy it full price any day of the week. I didn't like this the first time I tried it, but I'm glad that I stuck it out and tried it a few more times because I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I empty it. I think I used it wrong the first time. It makes my hair feel very silky while wet and I've noticed my hair stays softer longer once dry (normally I would have to reapply leave-in conditioner and oils to my ends almost every day that I didn't wash my hair). I still use a leave-in and oil my ends after using this product, but I find that it really eliminates the need for regular conditioner for me. For some maybe they would need both. I was slightly concerned about it weighing down my hair because I have very fine hair, but I've had no issues with that. It's also worth noting I don't cut or trim my hair at all, so my standards for a conditioning product are very high as I have very specific needs. Would definitely recommend! I got this and it worked pretty well the first couple of uses, my hair was silky and healthy but the more I used it, the more my hair turned dry, frizzy and straw-like.
