UPDATE: I retrieve what I said previously and give it back it’s 5 stars. I contacted customer service and found out that the new travel lock protects the trimmer from accidentally turning on while in transit. To control the travel lock, the trimmer must be off and then rapidly click the power button three times to engage or disengage. The battery wasn’t dead after all. PRIMARY REVIEW: I’m very disappointed in this. It stopped charging and working after less than 6 months using it no more than one a month. I am pretty much homebound so I or my wife cuts my hair. It’s rechargeable so I can move outside or the porch to trim my hair. The attachments work and can be adjusted.

Mid use, my trimmer shut off suddenly and wouldn't turn back on. I thought the battery died so I tried to charge it and it still wouldn't turn on. This one lasted me two years. Not bad but I would like something better so I started researching what replacement to buy. Finally picked one and when it arrived I found that the blade was too wide to work well for me. So I looked up this one to see how wide the blade was. Then I noticed the "travel lock" feature. Tap the power button three times and locks. Could it be? Yep. I'm an idiot. Don't know how I engaged the travel lock, but I did. Tapped the button three more times and now I don't need a replacement. T.L.D.R. good product as long as you're not an idiot like me. ... show more

It effectively trims around sensitive areas, is easy to clean, and requires minimal maintenance, making it convenient for regular use. I have recommended this product to others due to its performance and design. However, one key piece of advice is to purchase the warranty. My trimmer unexpectedly stopped charging without any prior warning signs, and after reviewing feedback from other customers, I’ve found this is a common issue. I bought this around a year ago, and it has not been fun. The entire point of this thing is to be nick free whilst shaving your unmentionables and it does quite the opposite of that. For 1, this item is nearly unusable without the usage of a trim guard that it comes with. If you try using it without the guard, it will leave you cleaning blood off the razor, and i know from experience. At first this wasnt a problem, i used as normal for about a month, then after that, it went to shit. The blade started to stutter and make noises during use that was almost identical to a broken down chevy. Not even a week later, it stopped charging correctly. I would leave it charging over night (with its own charging cable that it came with, and once with my own cable), and the next use, id get about a minute in, and itd shut off. Completley dead after 8 hours of charging. I wasnt even gonna leave a review until what just happend. I was using the razor guard, which has a solid amount of space between it and the razors themselves, and to my surprize it still cut me, wasnt even a nic, full on cut. If you wanna keep your sack intact, dont buy this overpriced garbage, buy something far cheaper at target, or walgreens, hell even tiktok shop has better options. ... show more
