trimmer is probably great, but when i received it the trimmer packaging had scuffs on it and the trimmer was flipped over inside the package, seemingly on purpose so that the brand new airtag i found inside of it would fit. i have no idea how this could have been on accident or why it would have been done on purpose. i did open the airtag package to make sure and there really was a brand new, still wrapped airtag inside. ... show more

I purchased mine a few months ago and it stopped working. I complained, not having any expectation that it would make a difference, and somebody from the company reached out to me to make it right. I’ve got to say that now I’m a fan of the brand. 10/10 for going above and beyond.

So I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance on it, not once but twice. I ordered one for myself in June 2024 (I’m a chick) but don’t like shaving, and prefer to not to have to use a guard because I like the cut to be as close to the skin. It worked really well that I ordered one for my teen son and husband a month later, and even ordered an extra head replacement for their trimmer. We all agreed it was nice to use, no nicks or cuts, you could get close to the skin and not be scared you’re going to mutilate your genitals, held a charge, like it was a good purchase. Then yesterday I went to use mine in the shower (it states it’s waterproof) and the thing wouldn’t turn on. Nothing. I tried to charge it, nothing. It won’t turn on, the light isn’t coming on. So I decide to put it in the other charger (thinking maybe it’s that) and nothing. So we take the other trimmer, put it in my charger (thinking it could be the charger not working) and their trimmer lights up and charged in my docking station. An hour or so later, their trimmer is not only fully charged but now, will not turn off. Now I could chalk up my trimmer not working anymore as a defective product, we’ve all had something defective. But to have TWO trimmers and have BOTH of them having an issue, nah! That is not cool. And the fact that their customer service has no phone number to actually talk to someone, that sucks even more. And what kills me, is their home office is like 30 minutes from me. Whatever. I would not recommend this trimmer to anyone. It’s not worth the cost, the disappointment of going to use it, just for it to not work. I sent an email to the company (but I’m well past their 90 day warranty) so we’ll see what happens, but for something I’ve only had a few months to die out, not one item, but two, from the same company, no thanks. Keep searching for that unicorn trimmer ladies (and gentlemen). *Update* Contacted the company by email, there was no number on their website, to let them know my situation. First they asked for pics of the trimmers, then proof of purchase with screenshots of my Amazon order. Sent that back. Then they replied if I tried plugging the charging cord directly into the trimmer. My husband and I both went online to troubleshoot BEFORE contacting them. At that point, I told them they can either replace them or not. They replaced them by saying they’re shipping the newer 3.0 plus trimmer, 2 of them. I absolutely appreciate them resolving the issue, but I will not buy from them again, which sucks because the trimmer hasn’t knocked me once in all the time I’ve used it. I originally gave 1 star because I couldn’t believe two products could both have problems 6 months after using them, but I’ve changed it to 4 stars. 1 for the trimmer not causing knicks or cuts, 2 for the light on the trimmer, 3 because the charge does seem to last (when it works) and 4 because of their customer service. The razor is definitely the best one I've had and the light on it is a game changer, it makes trimming so much easier. Only downside I've had is that the charging base stopped working in only 6 months, but luckily you can unplug the cable from the base and plug in directly into the razor instead.

I’ve been grooming there for 30 years. I started with a pair of scissors, a 2-blade disposable, and a little soap. Added an electric hair trimmer, then beard trimmer to supplement the basics. Decided to try this one. It was love at first try. The cut was super easy and fast. Wished they would have a longer cut option, but I really liked the results. Way cleaner around any skin transition. Never once came close to cutting myself - and I got super close without the stubble feel. Summary - less time, safer, better results - sold. Knocked 1 star for being cheap and not including another longer cut option. It’s less than a 1 cent part. ... show more
