This stuff is absolutely FANTASTIC! I shall start off by saying that I am *extremely* pale. For people as white as me, there are only a few cosmetic brands that carry light enough foundation, and they are around $30~$50, or higher. Not an option for me. I am on a very tight budget. So I read the reviews for this, and discovered it is to be mixed with foundation to make it paler. I mix it to about a 50/50 ratio with my foundation, sometimes I do more white toner than foundation when I want to look a little more pale (I love to look very pale). On it's own, it's on the runny side. But it dries to a matte finish, and won't slide around or transfer when you touch it. That can change when mixed with foundation, depending on how your foundation works. Also, it's water based, and not greasy. And it agrees very well with even the oiliest acne prone skin like mine! Not only can it be used with liquid foundation, I even use it with a heavy coverage stick foundation, I just put some of the stick foundation on my face, then I apply the same amount (or more) of the white, and then spread it on my face until it's blended. Then I finish it off with a matte face powder. It ends up looking flawless and very porcelain. It's absolutely lovely! I think it could be used on it's own, I'm not sure since I haven't tried it that way, but it's quite sheer by itself and so I think it would only give a subtle ghostly look, not a stark white look like a white cake makeup. I swear this has saved my life!!!! I love being ghostly white, so simply making do with something too dark was NOT an option. I wanted to find something to help me embrace how pale I am and this has made my wish come true! If you are super pale, BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this at the suggestion of a few beauty bloggers that I had checked out because I have super, super pale skin and no type of foundation really works for me. The bloggers all used Manic Panic Virgin Dreamtone Gothic Foundation in Vampire White mixed in with their current foundation to create a new, more correctly colored foundation. Since I have had no luck trying to find a foundation that works for me, I decided to try it... AND IT WORKED. It worked perfectly. I could not be happier. For the first time in a long time I don't have to do an insane amount of blending all the way down to my shirt so that I don't look two-toned. My current foundation is L'oreal True Match in C1 (alabaster). It's the closest I can get to my skin's undertones, but it is still a shade or two too dark for me. I mixed one pump of the Vampire White in with one drop of the True Match with a beauty blender, and it worked perfectly on my face. The picture attached is my face with just the blended foundation- no powder or concealers were used yet. I wish I could say this is a good product, but unfortunately I have struggled with using this. I have extremely oily skin and live in a hot climate, so I think that might be a factor in my difficulty with this product. Being water based, it comes off very easily, and has caused all my other foundations to separate and seize up in small chunks when I try to mix it with other products. The pump in this little bottle is terrible! You have to be VERY careful otherwise you can get splatters of foundation everywhere. It comes off my oily skin very easily. By the way, the foundation is very liquidy, but I do not consider that a pro or con. On the plus side, it has a very nice fragrance, nothing overpowering. When it comes to coverage, it's not very opaque, giving more of a white cast to the skin. When it comes to blending, I find it blends more easily when you ensure your sponge is damp first. The finish is very nice, mostly matte. Overall, I will do my best to use up the product that I have purchased, but in the future I'm going to have to try harder to find an affordable white foundation. ... show more

    • Wasn’t bad, but not amazing either
The media could not be loaded. It still worked and made my face white, but it was kinda thin in the coverage. It worked for me bc i’m already pretty pale without this foundation, but I was trying to do trad goth makeup with this, and if people with darker skin tones would try trad with this it probably wouldn’t work very well since I could still see my natural skin tone under it a little bit. I got a cute video out of it though so I definitely can’t say it’s terrible, but there might be better product out there. ... show more
