This is my first glue gun that is rated at 100W. The high wattage is important to note because it allows for a short heat-up time and higher temperatures so you can do the work as quickly as possible. Waiting for the glue stick to melt between work can be frustrating and affect the quality and accuracy of your work. The Manelord comes with the usual safety features, including a stand to keep the nozzle elevated off the ground and overheat protection. Included is a storage case, 5 yellow glue sticks, and 5 black ones. To use the glue gun, insert a glue stick into the gun's socket and heat it up (should take between 3-5 mins). When there's some stick remaining, use a fresh one to push out the old one. Never push out the remaining stick in any other way, or you'll risk burning yourself. Glue sticks can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including bringing together wood, metal, plastic, glass, and paper pieces. You can also create some really, really strong sculptures with the melted glue, such as keeping a frayed phone charging cable from bending/breaking. Check out online videos for some realy neat things you can do with glue sticks. Overall, I have relegated my older glue gun to my younger brother. 100W really does make a difference in speed. Manelord Industrial Glue Gun . This glue gun is an addition to ones I currently have (20 watt and 40 watt). I like the 100 watt heating element as it provides quick and efficient heating of the glue sticks. Great for sealing boxes and other items you need to seal, repair or hobby use. With the lower wattage guns your limited to the amount of glue you can disperse at a time, this one provides plenty of glue that can be laid at a time. I like having a power switch on it rather than having to unplug it when not in use for a while which makes it safer. This is hands down the best glue gun I’ve ever used. The size is perfect for all types of jobs. It heats up quickly and efficiently. Most hot-glue guns you find are 60 watts. I replaced one of those with this 100 watt gun because I was not able to get enough glue at one time. When assembling some projects, one might need to be able to get a 3 to 5 foot bead out all at once so you can adhere it all before the first of it sets. I could not get that from my old gun but this one fills the bill. Mostly, it's pretty much like any other, with the exception it can deliver more glue at a time.     • Easy to Use. Very effective.
I love this thing. While it's not the highest quality product, it's still pretty darn good. I've this hot glue gun for Home improvement projects, arts and crafts, anyone to build some Cardboard furniture for my 2 year old son. This thing has been quick heating, easy to use comma and consistently reliable. This is the kind of tool I think should be in everybody's home. Even if you don't do arts and crafts like I do, I'm certain that you will find some use for this. In a few months I've had it, have probably used it at least a dozen times, including to adhere motion detecting lights to my garage, which is proved exceptionally difficult until I use the hot glue gun, which is the only thing that has made its day. Although looks very small on images, it is a big glue gun. Pros: + Industrial or at least professional grade, very solid quality. + Heats fast and easy to work with. + Very inexpensive for quality! + Light gives you a clue if it's on or off. Cons: - I would like to have a longer cord, but extension cord solved this issue :) I used it to have plastic bumper fixed, worked very nice and I saved a bunch of money!     • Solid Glue gun
This gun works well and has good solid feel to its construction. I bought it mostly to secure various components and modifications on circuit boards from vibration that will be used in harsh environments. It works well and once up to full temp (which takes a little longer than I would like, but its by no means a big hassle) it will seriously push some glue. Like many glue guns it sometimes will have some leak out the tip when not being used, but I have seen much worse than this one. The included black glue sticks are quite serious. I learned this the hard way after using them too attach something I planned on removing later. It was not easy to remove. Usually that's the intended goal so this is a good thing in my book. Use it in moderation though, because the black glue is even harder to cut/shave down with a knife than what I'm used too dealing with. Overall, excellent performing glue gun. ... show more

I used to have a smaller version of this gun and I got tired of it taking so long to heat up. Also, my old one didn't have a indicator light to show if it was on or not. This one has a light and on-off switch too. So I can leave it plugged in when I need it and turn on the heat when I need it. Turned hot very quickly and I'm happy with the result. ... show more
