  • Love these & Amazon has the best price
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I started buying these in the grocery store many years ago. So much better tasting and for you than a frozen pizza (relatively, it's still pizza). Also much cheaper than carry-out. It's great to be able to put your own fresh veggies, cheese, sauce on them without the burden of having to make a crust. Brush a little olive oil on these crusts before the sauce and they are quite tasty. But as inflation rocketed this past year so did the in-store price of these to the point they stopped being a value so I stopped buying them, which made me sad. So I was excited to find them on Amazon where they remain at an affordable price. ... show more

  • Pretty Good Crust.....And Never Buying Again...
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
Update: Okay, thought I'd give these another try.. They ~are~ more substantial than the Pastorelli crusts, but also a little more "doughy" tasting too... It's a trade-off... That said, the problem is the packaging... They are fragile, because they're a bit dry, and thick... Neither would be a problem in itself, but the Packaging Dept at this company needs to be fired... They come in a well sealed (but not re-sealable) plastic bag, but there is just no support to help keep the crusts flat, while they are being handled in shipping... Just a simple heavy cardboard disk would be great.. But they won't do that... And as such, what arrives is the crust you see in my picture above... And that's after pulling it out as carefully as I could so that it wouldn't break apart further... So, as you can imagine, it just makes making and handling the pizza very, very difficult... And the result is just frustration and a disappointment... Never again, Mama Mary... You've lost me forever as a customer.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So I've tried the Pastorelli thin crusts (which I ~do~ like), and thought I'd give these a try as well... Brushed on some olive oil, then the sauce... Then added my seasoning.. I finally learned to do that early-on, as the spices won't char if they're not on top... Then the rest of the toppings, and cooked it for 10 minutes... 425 degrees, top oven rack.. The crust is definitely not a thin crust - a little thicker than that, plus an even thicker surrounding outer ring of crust... Let the crust brown just a bit on the edge, and that seemed to be just right... The crust is a little more chewy than the thin crust - which isn't a bad thing at all - just a matter of preference... Decent enough flavor and substance to the crust, for a pre-made crust.. Just understand these will never be the same as you'd find fresh-made at a pizzeria, but that's the the nature and convenience of the pre-made pizza crust.. My ~only~ negative on these is the packaging... I didn't really see a way to re-seal the package, so if you're just making one pizza, find a big plastic bag as well for the leftover crust.. Also, as other's have noted, and as you can see from my picture, the crust was cracked in two spots... They are thick enough that if they get bent in shipping and handling, without a round piece of corrugated cardboard under the crusts, I'd say there's a good chance of getting cracked... I don't really see how it's not going to happen, the way they are packaged... Other than that, a good value and decent taste/consistency for the money... ... show more

  • Easy and fast prep
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
These were good for the price ..Obviously not as good as Restaurant pizza or homemade pizza crust , but great to make when time is a factor ..Tasted okay ...I brushed on Garlic infused olive oil , before the sauce and cheese and that helped ...Did not , as some others reviewed taste like cardboard ...these are a little thin and will crack if you try and fold it ..I just cut it in 8/10 slices ...fast , easy snack .. ... show more

  • seemed old
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
Excited to get the product but disappointed in the product. It arrived cracked in a few places which can be understandable during shipping, the package was in a box with some padding but allowed to bounce around but the cracks in my opinion after eating one of the pizzas was it was OLD! It tasted horrible! Like an old stale saltine cracker. I baked as directed. I have purchased other shelve stored pre-mades at the market and thought this would be similar but it did not compare at all. Will not purchase again. But as they say, you get what you pay for! Under $5 for two pizzas but I did end up tossing the second one. ... show more

  • Great, if you know how to cook it.....
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
Very convenient. Sure it doesn’t replace any homemade dough recipe. But for a couple bucks a crust, that’s a good deal. There are many ways to cook this. I read a review where it was rubbery. Well, I will explain one way to bake it to make it crispy. Take a baking sheet (cookie sheet), preferable line in with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Spray or pour olive oil on the sheet in the circumference of the pizza, about a table spoon, rub that around until it’s the same foot print of the pizza, just enough to cover not gobs. Preheat your oven to 455, put the rack as far to the bottom of the oven as it will go. Once your oven is heated. Pop in your customized pizza. Also be sure not to over do it on the toppings as this might make it soggy and harder to cook thoroughly. Pro tip: If you have a top broiler in your oven, blast that on about 5-6 mins into the bake, keep it on until you see the wires turn red. (Typically a minute or 2)...Then immediately turn off and turn the oven (bake) back to 455. Continue baking until cooked to your liking. (Make sure you actually turn the oven back on.) Should take about 15-23 minutes depending on your oven, if your ingredients were frozen, refrigerated or room temperature and how many ingredients are on the pizza. Bon Appetite ... show more

  • Broken / Cracked Pizza Crust
Size: 1.5 Pound (Pack of 1)
Beware of Mama Mary’s pizza crust. There are two pizza crusts in the bag; however there is no way to reseal it, so if you want to save the second crust you'll need scotch tape or a huge strip of cellophane to wrap around the bag. My package was dated for expiration in April 2024 so that was okay. Both crusts were broken and cracked; one was almost unusable and the pizza we cooked had a few breaks in it. The crust has a mild pleasant taste before and after baking. Sadly, cutting the pizza was extremely difficult and nearly required a chain saw. So the ‘slices’ looked like a mess and the ingredients shifted off the crust. This was our Super Bowl Sunday pizza. It was flavorful and the crust tasted good, but it's too much of a mess to ever buy again. I cannot recommend these pizza crusts. You're much better off at the grocery store and visually examining whatever crust brand you want to use. ... show more
