  • 0 net carb yumminess
Size: 8.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Definitely recommend! Really good! My partner and I have had to be on a low carb, low sugar diet for health reasons so it’s been a month since we’ve had a real pizza experience. Saw this had 0 net carbs and needed to give it a shot. I definitely read some of the other reviewers before making it, taking in peoples recommendations on how to make the dough. Well, first shot at it and so pleased with the flavor and results. It was crispy and held the toppings well. -I used 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in the mixture. Added sea salt, Italian seasoning, and everything bagel seasoning. Mixed it well into a big ball. -I put a thin coat of olive oil on the cast iron pizza stone. Kept my fingers wet and spread the dough out, using my fingers to press it into a circle. Put another tablespoon of olive oil on top of the dough. -I baked it on its own for 5 minutes. Someone else in the review did it, I think it helped make the bottom crispier. -added the rest of the toppings and baked for 18 min! Ate and enjoyed every bit of it! Big take away is to add a bunch of seasonings to the dough mixture. The everything bagel seasoning was chefs kiss. I just wish this was cheaper so I could justify buying it more! I think this will be our once a month treat :) ... show more

  • It’ Was A No, Now It’s A Yes Four And. A Half Stars
Size: 8.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
On the negative side it’s very expensive for what it is. I didn’t care for the taste but my son loved it. It was a pain to get together and a bigger pain to roll out. My son was a fan, so I I’ll probably buy it again. I think with adding Italian seasoning and extra water to the mix, it would make a more flavorful crust, and I will add more of the oil when I mix it up, and more water. On the plus side it rose very well and held up to the toppings like a champ. My stomach felt bloated after I ate a small piece, which wasn’t pleasant. I am willing to try it again, and see if the tweaks help. This is the second product from this line that I’ve tried, and I find them dry and flavorless, while my son really likes them, and in general a small serving bloats my stomach, so I am not sure I will eat it again, but I will buy it for my son. UPDATE After posting the above review, the company reached out to offer a full refund. I have since discovered that with a few tweaks, I can do it better the next time. The next day I reheated it in a covered frying pan over low heat, and after fifteen minutes or so, and the crust was brown and crispy. With a few tweaks the crust will come together next time. I have now put in a monthly subscription and I’ve changed my rating to reflect user error and great customer service. ... show more

  • DELICIOUS!
Size: 8.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I put off making pizza with this mix for a long time due to reviews. I didn’t mix any seasoning into the mix because I wanted to give it a fair shot by itself. I’m happy to report that not only did this crust rise like regular pizza crust, I found the texture and flavor to be really exceptional. This dough is light, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It lacks the ‘chew’ of regular pizza dough, but to me the texture is so good that I don’t miss that anyway. For reference I’ve had gluten free pastries that I hated, PLENTY of regular pizza, fat head dough, cauliflower crust etc… I’ve truly had it ALL. The only negative is 3/4 cup of water made this dough SO STICKY! The next time I buy this I’m going to add 1 tbsp at a time, not sure why that happened but I had to drench my hands and the pan in olive oil to get it to roll out. Easing the excess dough off my fingers was a weird slimy nightmare lol Be very liberal with oiling the pan and the pizza will come right off! I could tell where I skimped as it stuck pretty bad in some spots (granted I use old baking sheets). Anyway, give this a try! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised! ... show more

  • So sticky I couldn’t get it off my hands

Threw it away. No idea how anyone works with this dough. Followed the directions and ended up with half the mix glued to my hands. Waste of money

  • Better than the rest, but not exactly pizza.
Size: 8.4 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This is not pizza dough. This is definitely something else. It's not bad. It doesn't plump up the way real dough does. It's zero net carbs! So you have to take all things into consideration. The taste is good. The texture is what's not right, but it's not terrible. It's acceptable. This and this company's premade pizza doughs are good, not great, but for now they are maybe the best ones. It can't be too bad, I keep buying it. You do need to be patient and be willing to experiment. After all of that, I do recommend this product. Update: 12/16/22 I think this is the second bag of pizza flour I have tried. I don't think that the pizza in the photo on the bag came from this flour. I don't see how they could get it to fluff up like that. So this time I added one packet of Fleishman's instant yeast. I blended half a carrot in 1/3 of a cup of water and topped it off to have the required 3/4 of a cup of water for the recipe. I made it warm and added the yeast. Why the carrot water? - to feed the yeast, without using sugar or honey and the yeast really reacted well to it. So other than that, I followed the directions, but I kneaded it for about 5 minutes. Then I used a rolling pin and created the round shape. You cannot toss this like a real dough. Those who say this feels like real pizza dough, either have never touched real pizza dough ( many of my uncles and cousins have owned pizzerias) or they are from an alternate reality or they are high. So, that being the case if you want to enjoy a plump rounded crust, you need to make it happen manually. I tried to do it. Then I put the dough on some parchment paper, ( a pizza stone would be better) I placed it in a warm oven, but with the heat off for about an hour. Then I took it out of the oven, preheated it to 450F then I baked it dry with some olive oil spread on top for 4 minutes, added my homemade tomato sauce and baked it for another 4 minutes, then I added mozzarella and parmesano mix. I didn't have enough mozzarella. I usually only use mozzarella with a pinch of parmesano. I improvised. I baked it for another 8 minutes or until the cheese started to look like it does in the photos, slightly brown. I won't eat this pizza all at one time. So instead of heating up the oven each time I want to have a slice, I actually will heat it up in a non-stick frying pan maybe with a little olive oil in the bottom. The white crust gets perfectly crispy and the cheese all melty. I still feel the same way as my original review. Compared to cauliflower or some other crust, this is way better. But it doesn't taste like pizza crust should. I'm happy it exists and has zero net carbs. It has a neutral flavor, which is great. So it doesn't taste bad. The mouth-feel is more bready or cakey. I look forward to future endeavors to create zero net carb concoctions that get closer and closer to those high carb items that we miss. I applaud the makers of this flour. I was happy with how this one came out. ... show more
