I’ve lived in the country with terrible well water for 3 years. I’ve always used Malibu treatments to strip iron out of my hair. But it was terribly damaged, so I decided to try this. My hair looks and feels better than it has since I moved here. I will say that I’ve read some of these reviews (even from hairstylists) that do not seem to understand this product is specific for hard water hair or swimmers hair. Yes it’s a conditioner. But it’s meant for specific types of damage. So as long as you understand its purpose and use it for what it’s meant for, it’s a great product. I suggest weekly use. I also suggest combining it with the treatments that remove chemicals and iron from your hair. ... show more

There wasn’t enough of the packet. I’ve used these before and these were smaller than I have seen ever. I was bummed because the product itself is helpful and it makes a huge difference for my hair. I have short hair, but it didn’t even cover it.

I have very fine and brittle hair. I moved in 2020 out to farm land where the water is very hard and I moved in with my boyfriend and his parents 8 months ago, they don't have water softener either I also have PTSD with one of the side effects being GAD and all the stress causes SO MUCH hair loss for me I've only used this for a month and my hair is SO SOFT AND FLUFFY and actually has volume which isn't normal for my fine hair because ANYTHING weighs is down and I paired it with L'Oreal's pro longer shampoo 2 weeks ago and it has cut my hair loss in half. I made my boyfriend start using it because he has very thick long hair that I love and after using it once the next morning his hair was BEAUTIFUL, super soft and so fluffy like a lions mane. Is it expensive yes but it's totally worth it and you can actually tell that your hair soaks it up, for the first couple of uses I had to use quite a bit because my hair would just absorb it all but I don't have to use as much now. I had heard nothing but good reviews about Malibu. This one was not supposed to be the one that strips your hair of anything but deep conditions it. I would never use the stuff again. My hair is straw and I can hardly run A come through it. I don’t know if if they mislabeled this package and it’s really the one that strips things off your hair or what but it’s awful.
