im constantly having to restock on this one 🤭🤭 it's my fav!! it feels so lightweight but is so opaque! i usually put a thin layer of black waterproof eye/lip liner and top it with this and the combo is unbeatable, truly the blackest black 🖤🖤🖤 long wear and gorgeous 10/10

First, the positives. The color is fantastic. Bright red that gets noticed. The applicator deposits color exactly where you put it, but you need to let it dry for about 20 seconds before doing anything (talking, eating, breathing.....anything!) or it will smudge. The color does last most of the day and does not come off on your cup when drinking, however, the color does wear off in the center of your lips from eating/drinking. This is when the negatives kick in..... 1) the color is not 100% smudge proof. If it gets on any fabric, you can count it as a rag, because the color will not wash out. 2) You will need a powerful makeup remover to get it completely off of your lips, or it could be on for 2-3 days! No joke. 3) When reapplying, the matte finish becomes super dry and peels, leaving your lips to feel not so nice and looking strange (splotchy color). 4) If you wear a lip conditioner or primer underneath, all of the waterproof/smudgeproof benefits go out the window. It's just a pretty red lipstick at that point. Recommendation: Use this product for PHOTO SHOOTS, SELFIES, PAGEANTS, FASHION SHOWS (events where you only have to look perfect for a couple of hours without retouching). ... show more

I got the shade, 'dinner time'. Which is ironic because while it is beautiful, I would not recommend wearing it to dinner. When I first got it, I put it on that evening after work and wore it around my house to test it out. It goes on easily and smoothly. The color is amazing. It has a great matte finished and made my lips look very full. It lasted the entire 5 hours before I took my shower without smudging or coming off. It didn't get flaky or weird, it was great. I put it on the next morning before work and this was the true test that it didn't pass too well. I had a couple cups of coffee and then a small breakfast at work. By 9am the color was starting to fade in a spotty way. The lip line stayed dark while the lips looked blotchy and uneven. I did bring it with me so I can reapply it and that's fine. But if you're looking for something long lasting and smudge proof, I would not say this is it. The matte look and the color are great! I would give closer to 3.5 stars, if I could. ... show more

Here is my honest experience with this product. As soon as I got it, I opened the package and put it on. Oh the first try I noticed the color looks different than the one in the pictures, it felt very dry on my lips, it was hard to fully cover my lips as there were spots that woukd not be covered so I had to apply more product and it started cracking and peeling. I decided that it would probably be a good idea to scrub and prime my lips to have a better experience and, although it was a bit better it still felt very dry and thick. I just ignored it and didn’t mess with it for the next 5 hours of work, I drank water and ate something. Did not notice any transfer, however, after the 5 hours I checked in the mirror and it was gone. Based on my experience I would not recommend this product. These are beautiful but far away the true colors , orange looks like a light peach & hot pink looks like bubblegum , still I will keep them to wear them on the day but try to choose a more dark version to get your color desired

    • Definitely Transfer Proof- But Patchy

Ok, I ordered this lipstick for a christmas themed swirled candy cane lip. It takes about 20-30 seconds to dry, and after that you can keep touching your lips and NOTHING will come off. It is the same way when taking it off at night. You really have to SCRUB aggressively to get all of it off, and it also leaves your lips dry and patchy. Another thing I don’t like is that the texture is patchy and it is not a highly pigmented product. You almost have to keep caking it on the get the rich color you want, and that is probably a quarter of the tube, and it is too much product just for the first time using it. The thing I do like is you do get a lot of product. They are very generous with the amont, but I am just not a huge fan of the lipstick’s overall texture. It is also not a very comfortable formula to have on your lips for a very long time. It just doesn’t give off the best feeling when you lick your lips.
