I legit don’t let myself run out of this stuff. I cry frequently during church if something moves me but my mascara and eyeliner kept smearing. Also, I was tired of my makeup wearing off onto my lower eyelid and looking crappy. I decided I needed to go with waterproof everyday. This is hands down the best waterproof mascara I’ve found. Even the high-end, ridiculously expensive ones “melt” and transfer onto my upper and lower lids. This stuff does not budge! No amount of sweat or tears has caused it to even flake. The product is thick, i like to wipe off some excess on the side of the tube before use. The brush is a dream, it’s a softer, fluffier version of the “better than sex” brush I used to prefer. I wasn’t expecting my ride-or-die mascara to be from L’Oréal, but they have mastered it! Pros: pigmented, nice formula, looks pretty on the lashes, easy to remove Cons: smudges I love the formula and what this mascara does for my lashes. For the first couple of hours this mascara looks beautiful! After that though, it starts to smudge along my bottom lash line (even though this is supposed to be the waterproof formula). Part of it might be that I live in Texas, but it seems to do it no matter the temperature outside. This does make it easy to take off though. I have a make-up artist friend who RAVES about this mascara. She goes through mascara tubes like crazy for photo shoots and commercials. She says that at the rate that she goes through mascara, she has to use a budget-friendly mascara. She says that this works. My opinion: the formula is very thick. I had to wipe the wand on a paper towel to clean it off. If I applied it directly to my eyelashes, I would end up with a big clump of black mascara and would likely touch my eyelid and end up with a big mess. I prefer to clean off the wand really well and then layer coats of mascara on. This requires patience and discipline but I never regret doing it (when I do it). I have oily skin and finds that this will leave a lash imprint on my upper eyelids. TIP: If you use setting spray, spray your face when you do not have any mascara on. Also, if you have an eyelash comb, put some setting powder on it and comb it through your lashes after you apply mascara. This will help set the wet mascara and reduce the likelihood of smudging. RECOMMENDATION: Based on the reasonable price and all the rave reviews, I would give this a try. It’s worth trying it to see if this is a budget-friendly and easy-to-find in a drugstore mascara that works for you. ... show more

Love this. Everytime I try out another mascara I always come back to this one. Gives nice volume with the fibers, I like to use it with a more curved spoolie to enhance length though.

I had trouble with my lashes drooping with the regular formula so, I tried the waterproof version and I didn’t have that problem. Makes my lashes look super full and fake! Love it

I got this mascara because it was advertised as waterproof, but it's definitely not. After a few hours of wear, it starts to wear off onto my eyelids. I do love the volume it creates and it goes on smoothly. Just disappointed it's not truly waterproof/smudgeproof.
