Was blown away how much makeup comes off with only water. They don't absorb water easily so they take some time to get wet but work great. I first use only water and go over my face and then will use a gentle cleanser to get off anything left behind. It can get off some of my mascara but not all unless I really rub which I don't want to do. Love seeing the makeup left behind on the cloth. First I gotta say how angry I am at myself for paying so much money for makeup remover all these years! So I NEVER write reviews but these….. these deserves a review! They are fantastic! They literally erase your makeup even my waterproof mascara with ease literally with a single swipe. They are easy to use and they are super soft and the perfect size and thickness. They are big enough to use one multiple times. These are a must buy literally don’t even back out and look at other brands or cheaper prices etc cuz i promise these are 100% worth it! Wow!! Yep, they really work. No need for soap! Just wet the cloth and remove all your makeup. I do need to lightly scrub off my waterproof mascara and do so in the exact way I'm accostomed to with makeup remover wipes. The fabric of the washcloth is super unique. It's really soft like a stuffed animal but there are these fluffy fibers that grip the makeup and pull it right off. I was in doubt that these were really special but they are indeed. I'm going to save so much money now that I can quit using remover wipes. Score! I washed them in the washing machine (didn't use cold water as suggested) and dried and they came out great. All traces of makeup were gone, they were still soft and worked like a charm once again. These are totally the future. I plan to buy them for my friends at Christmas as part of my favorite products gift basket. I do find they leave my face a tad more dry than remover wipes but it's encouraged me to finally use a retinol overnight cream I'd been skipping. All in all, I love these! ... show more

I love these cloths! I have roseacea so washing my face can cause me to flush and my skin to become very irritated. Since purchasing these, I no longer use a cleanser in the morning, I just dampen this with warm water and wipe my face gently and my skin instantly feels fresh and clean. Because I wear water resistant sunscreen during the day, I do double cleanse at night - so I can not attest to this product being able to remove makeup completely on it's own, but I do love the way it feels to wipe off the balm/oil cleanser or micellar water from my first cleanse. Most times I still do go in with a second gentle cleanser at night just to make sure that I get everything off, and I had to knock a star off of this just for the fact that it does not remove my tubing mascara without considerable rubbing. However, I still HIGHLY recommend these, as they are super soft (they feel like a baby blanket) and since beginning using them my skin has seen definite benefits from using less products to get my face clean - my face is NEVER red and irritated after cleansing the way it used to be. Before buying these I would also use a Glycolic Acid toner a few times a week for exfoliation, but following the advice I found for these on line I've started using the side with the longer nap (the side with the tag) to lightly exfoliate my face after cleansing and I no longer feel the need for the Glycolic Acid - my skin looks really good and while "physical exfoliation" is sometimes villainized, I find that the VERY gentle exfoliation from these cloths has been far more beneficial to my skin than using a harsh acid toner. With the additional benefit that using this instead does not make my skin more sun-sensitive. And the further benefit that I am able to use these to apply micellar water and eye makeup remover which reduces the vast number of disposable cotton rounds that I used to buy!!! I really love these and have just purchased more to gift to my daughter who kept stealing mine! ... show more

I love these Makeup cloths! I like using them for travel the most because I do not have to worry about having another liquid bottle, or a pack of wipes in my toiletry bag. They look so dirty full of makeup, like they might stain, but they always come out clean and it amazes me. I love keeping one in the shower to remove my makeup as water rinses my face. I have sensitive skin, and they remove makeup well enough fast enough before my skin is irritated. Under eye area is the most sensitive/affected when I have heavy mascara to remove, and that is why I like to use it in the shower... So most of my makeup washes away (raccoon eyes!) before I wipe the rest of it away with the cloth. I LOVE using these as face-mask removers! The directions on face masks always say "rinse face or remove with a damp cloth" This is the cloth you want if you are not rinsing in the shower, and do not want water splashed all over the counter. ... show more

Holy crap, these actually work. They are super soft and take all the makeup off including waterproof (or tube) mascara. Mind blown. I can stop buying disposable wipes, saving on waste and money. Stop throwing money in the trash on disposable makeup removers and buy these.

I wanted something to remove most of my mascara which is the makeup I wear most before showering since it's sometimes hard to get it all off in the shower without a mirror to check. These are super soft, and they do a fantastic job removing the mascara and foundation that I wear. I didn't expect them to look like new after putting them in the washing machine after reading other reviews, but so far everything has come out of them in the wash. Maybe it depends on what kind of makeup you wear but for me these have been fantastic and getting multiples for the price of one of some other brands is awesome because you can cycle them through more often.
