  • This stuff is awesome!
Pattern Name: A-Clear
This stuff works so good that I couldn’t even get my fake nails off. I’ve tried multiple different types of nail glue as well as just gel curing a base coat to get the nails to stick, and none have worked nearly as good as this. It’s not sticky at all and it’s very easy to use. Love how it holds the nail down in place so it doesn’t slide all over! ... show more

  • Very impressive!!!:D
Pattern Name: D-Clear 2pcs
Ok i am a complete beginner, I know VERY little about doing nails (only what certified nail technicians have told me) but I did my nails by myself for the first time using this and I must say I am super impressed. First of all dont use your bare hands to put on nail or whatever the oils from your hands will mess up the gummy and that's why some people have trouble with having it last. I used a small metal spatula to put on nail before I put it on. This would have lasted longer than 2 weeks if I wasn't so impatient or had nail biting anxiety. I have hit my nails on things and used my nails to open soda cans and nothing made them pop off but when i did end up taking it off it was super easy like waaay easier than I expected. It really holds well. It was little to no mess when applying. It was just "stringy" that's the only "mess" you will get. I cured it for 2 minutes (just to be safe but I don't think it really needed it). Once these run out I am DEFINITELY buying again. ... show more

  • Not worth it
Pattern Name: A-Clear
I really wanted this to work because I hate having to hold my soft gel nail tips while curing. I read a bunch of reviews of the 4-5 most popular gels and decided to go with this one. I always PREP my nails really well every time it’s nail day (takes me at least 2 hours for removal of the old tips and fresh nail prep alone). Also all of my new tips prepped and etched and primer on, etc. and then put them on with this hard gel, not too much and not too little, then cured for 3 minutes which is more than recommended. It was cool how much easier it seemed to be, I went to sleep when I was done and the next morning I was fidgeting with my nails as I often do and I barely pushed on one of them and it peeled right off. The solid gel stayed stuck to my natural nail really well, but in no way was it stuck to my tip any better than the sticky stuff that you get from store bought press ons. I had to use my e-file to buff this glue off and even then it was really difficult to remove and acetone was hardly helping. I eventually grabbed part of it with my cuticle nippers and slowly peeled off the layer-which I shouldn’t be able to do either but it was easier than trying to buff it off. I made sure the gel was warm. I made sure there were no air bubbles. I made sure to not touch it and used a metal spatula. I personally wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ve been doing my nails for a year now and so far the best adhesive I’ve used is the Gelish tip adhesive which is also super super thick but my nails easily last a month with that stuff. Bummed. ... show more

  • It’s okay but not great
Pattern Name: A-Clear
Really thick and difficult to scoop out when it is cold. Once you get it on the nail however it works very well. It also looks good on the nail and doesn’t get bubbles hardly at all. Cleanup under the nail where it oozes out at the fingertip is a real hassle. If you have an e-file then you are good but if you don’t you better make sure you don’t apply too much. As for durability this glue is just okay. I had pop offs within a couple of days after application where with other glues I do not. I like the convenience of this glue but dislike the cleanup when you use too much and the durability is not the best. ... show more

  • Easy to use but…
Pattern Name: A-Clear
I recently tried the Makartt Solid Nail Glue, and while it has some positives, it didn't quite live up to my expectations for use as a traditional glue gel. The application process was incredibly easy, as the glue has a smooth consistency and is simple to spread onto both my natural nails and the press-on nails. It also has a convenient, mess-free texture that doesn't spill or drip, making it easy to handle. However, when it came to actually holding the press-on nails in place, I was disappointed. Despite properly prepping both my natural nails and the false nails, the glue would initially hold the nails in place, but after a couple of days, the rubbery gel would start to pop off. The bond wasn’t as strong as I'd hoped, and the gel remained flexible and rubbery, making it ineffective for long-lasting wear. On the plus side, I think this glue would work wonderfully for 3D nail art, as its flexible and non-drip nature makes it ideal for attaching embellishments, gems, or other decorative pieces without the risk of creating a mess. Overall, while I wouldn't recommend this for securing press-on nails, it could be a great option for art-focused applications. ... show more

  • Doesn’t last with gelx
Pattern Name: A-Clear
Was hoping this would be a friendlier option for me when I was just starting out with DIY GelX but I could not get good retention when using it to adhere my nails. Consistency wise it was great when applying bc the viscosity is thick nut my sets would pop off after a 5-7 days which is extremely short for me. I tend to be rough and pick but I on average can get my sets to last 2.5 weeks and thought maybe it was me, but I used this only sister, who sets usually last 4 weeks and I usually remove bc of her grow out and even hers also popped off after a week. Would recommend to practice and if you’re wanting to change your set out after a week or need something for just one occasion, but not if you’re looking for durability and long retention. ... show more
