I thought I’d be able to “sculpt” this gel with an orange stick or cuticle pusher and that it would hold its shape more (like I could roll it around in my fingers). Instead It’s basically just like a goopy gel that you can use to add dimension to designs. I guess that was just a misunderstanding on my part. Otherwise the product is good. I’m very much an amateur nail artist but I got this to try some 3D designs on press on nails and it was very easy to use! I figured it out almost immediately and am excited to keep playing with it. It dries like any normal UV gel, though takes a little bit longer. I found it’s best if you can apply it last, because if you put a top coat over it it sort of fades into the rest of the nail and doesn’t pop so much. I don’t know if it’s just me but I found the gel hard to use straight from the tube. It didn’t flow out evenly, and I eventually ended up applying it with a dotting tool and brush.

This was my first time ever working with chrome, but I noticed it’s SUPER glittery. I always reinforce it by rubbing with a clean sponge, but I never get the truly smooth chrome look. the 3D gel is also solid!
