Received the order ahead of the expected date. Took me 2hours 20 minutes to assemble by myself. Being use to assembling stuff the directions were clear for me. The cable system is one of the reason I chose this system over others that I researched. The smith machine was a must for to get me back to a controlled lift before I good off the SM. The foot pcs for rows and the 360° swivel attch for bent over rolls and othe exercises were also key to my purchase and of course the additional weights. Overall after much research this was the best bang for my buck. With all the items included, different option for exercises, and visually now the quality. I like the follow up email as well checking up on my purchase to make sure all is well. I will be grabing some additional accessories for sure. I recommend this to anyone that is beginning, get back into it (me), and even the experienced lifter. I bought this, and in my opinion this is commercial grade quality. As a first time home gym buyer the only 2 advice I would give is the following 1. to use an electronic torque wrench. Came in 5 boxes, the first couple arrived about a week early, then came another and then another and I got an alert that seemed to say it was all delivered. I reached out to them and they responded right away that the final box was still in transit and would be delivered on time. It was :-) Took me about 2-3 hours putting it together by myself with occasional help from my wife and son. Very solid product.     • An excellent center piece for a home gym

TLDR: Multiple deliveries for the entire set. Have heavy duty tape handy, it helps hold bolts in place. Customer service is top notch! Can be assembles solo. Expect to have multiple deliveries for this rack. Understandably so, since it is a good sized piece of equipment once assembled. Make sure to stay on top of the deliveries and make a note on what was delivered. In my case, box 1 of 4 had to be reissued along with the 2.5, 5, 10, and 25 pound plates as well. Take pics of broken or misaligned parts before and after assembly. In my case both the pulley slide pin knobs were cracked upon pre-assembly inspection, but still usable. Upon assembly my son noticed that the dip bars were not even in height. But do not fret, Major Lutie's customer service is top notch! Shout out goes to Suzy, Diva, and ESPECIALLY Allen for making sure that all the broken and misaligned parts were replaced in a speedy manner! Thank you Major Lutie for a great customer service team! Initial delivery was on February 4, 2024. Then the rest arrived within the next 4 days. Full assembly was on February 8th and all replacement parts came in via FedEx not too long after. It is why I am just now writing my review. Assembly took me around 3 hours to finish solo. An extra set of hands will make some steps of the install easier, but it can be done solo. Have a roll of heavy duty tape such as duct or Gorilla tape handy. It helps to keep the bolts in place when you are trying to align and install the parts together by yourself (the pull up assembly and the vertical pulley rails). The base requires a few bolts to be installed from the bottom up. Run the nylon nuts loosely on the bolts to hold them in place, because you will need to lift the base up a few times during the assembly process. The nylon nuts will prevent the bolts from falling out. What I did to eliminate the constant lifting of the base, because it starts to get heavy when the support rails are on top, was use the 25 & 35 pound plates to elevate the base. Take your time and you will have no issues with the assembly. The manual is easy to follow step by step with the included pictures. For the pulley cable install, I suggest using YT to look at the video on how to rout it. The manual isn't very clear on this part, especially on which hole to mount the cable eyelet on the pulley carriage. Mount it on the bottom hole of course. Tips: - If you have someone that can help, ask them to help you. - Do not over tighten the bolts and nuts. Once you feel a good resistance, turn it another quarter or half a turn. Even though the frame is steel, overtightening the bolts and nuts will squeeze the frame. - Don't forget to thoroughly go over each bolt once you have completed the assembly. Make sure they are tightened properly. - Be aware of what nut and bolt you are tightening. I mistakenly started tightening a pulley bolt and nut. Fortunately I caught it in time before I ended up compressing the plastic side hats to the point of possibly breaking them. - Lastly take your time. If you get frustrated, step back and give yourself a minute to refocus. Nothing beats the feeling of having your own home gym. No need to worry about other people's hygiene or lack thereof. No waiting or asking others how many more sets they have. Not having to worry if you will be put on blast on social media. The gym is only a few steps away, instead of miles away. The SML07 has all the basics to get a full body workout for beginners/intermediate alike and a good way to maintain conditioning for advanced individuals. My son, wife, and I like being able to simply step into the garage and have a gym ready for use. Looking forward to getting the leg extension in the future. Not to mention the weight stack upgrade. Now if they can somehow make an attachment that can make use of the smith machine as a leg press...this would be a complete setup for me and my family. If you are on the fence on this model. I received this equipment over 2 days of shipments and was happy to see the boxes were in good shape. While assembling I found some light denting and a bit of rubbing damage on 2 pieces. Did this have an adverse effect on the equipment? No, but it was frustrating to have cosmetic damage on a brand new piece of equipment, that no matter how fairly priced, was still expensive. All the hardware was delivered with the machine and it went together easily with the assistance of my daughter. One of the adapter sleeves was missing a cap and that was replaced within a week by the manufacturer. They also took care of me with the damage to the finish and dents, so I have no complaints with the manufacturer and am happy with the response. I'm 55 with a dad bod for sure, and I want to change things up so I am not all gimped up as I grow even older. I didn't want to go to the gym and wait on equipment in a room full of other people. So here I am and at this time I am really pleased with the purchase. Everything works as it should and I'm excited about the next few weeks as I start improving my body.
