It has plenty of support yet it stretches as I breathe. Keeps my back straight as I’m sitting, driving, walking around running errands. I’m 5’6” about 145 lbs and I tried both size small and medium. Medium fit but didn’t offer enough support/didn’t smooth bumps. Size small fits perfectly and smooths out my abdomen for a seamless look under fitted clothing. I do have a naturally smaller than average waist to start with however. The color options are strange and not at all inclusive.

I was pleasantly surprised by this shaper. It doesn't roll up and doesn't pucker as much as some other shapers I have tried. It just puckers a little under my chest while I am sitting. The cute little design is nice on the black one as well. I have seen some wear it higher over the chest instead of under, which looks really cute and is comfortable, but then it is not long enough to cover lower belly fat. When you sit it is not as comfy. It is one of the few shapers that do not roll up and do not pucker much. The material is soft and comfy. I purchased another one I liked it so well. The shaper part is not so tight that it is uncomfortable, but it is enough that it let me put on one of my heavy duty trainers over it because it sucked things in.

This is an excellent girdle for postpartum recovery, especially after a c section. However, if you have a short torso, the bonding will be digging into your skin whenever you sit down, which is the reason for my 4 stars. It holds you in great which is the main thing and provides back and belly support.

I must be way fatter than I thought. Usually I get stuff that is way too big for me so I was concerned I’d do it again. I wear an XL and thought a L may stretch and work better. Nope. It was like a can of biscuits busting out. I have never been more disgusted by my body. I pulled it down a little lower over the top of my shelf butt and wow…it looked absolutely horrible. I has a bunch of weird lumps and handles all over the place. It was awful. I could not hook it all the way up. I guess I need to be more careful. Make sure you go realistic with your size and keep your height in mind. I’m 5’4 185-190 lbs so my torso is short and it went over my butt if I pulled it down. I don’t like how it was right under my boobs. This is really all my fault for picking the wrong size so it may work for you. Just wondering if I should reorder the correct size or go to a gym.

I have a scoliosis in my spine and needed support during the day to keep my spine from squishing discs. This corset works wonders. It is reasonably comfortable, keeps me in an upright posture well enough that a friend noticed my erect posture. I also wear a DDS belt but when that is just too much this corset is perfect and reasonably priced.
