Very impressed with how well made and machined this is. The thumb screw turns easily and the magnet seemed very strong. I had to drop my review from 4 to 2 stars today after a round of golf trying to use it. I have to mount it to the bottom of my Google Pixel 6 because the fingers cover the buttons. It is too narrow to span over the buttons and too wide to fit one of the fingers between the buttons. I tried flipping it over and using it backwards and that didn't work either. The magnetism on the grip side is too weak to stick to the golf cart. I tried using it with my phone mounted to the bottom where it would fit and it popped off the cart on the first bump. I didn't trust it so I had my hand underneath waiting to catch it. I flipped my phone upside down and same result, the magnet is just not strong enough to withstand any bumps. I tried it on a Yamaha and a Club Car cart. Same results on both. The magnet needs to be much stronger and the fingers narrower and further apart to fit around buttons if needed. Kinda bummed because it is so well made and I wanted to like it. 9/23/23 update. It will hold a iPhone 12 pro max fine. It fits well and the phone didn't bobble all day. ... show more

What I like the most is how strong the magnet is when attached to my golf cart. I’m not worried that it might get bumped off because how well it holds. The blue color looks very nice. This cell phone holder is really well made and holds my cell phone very well. The ease of adjusting the width is also nice, as it will hold just about any size cell phone. I don’t like how heavy it is, but it will last a very very long time. It’s really nice to have my phone so accessible. It would make an excellent gift for all golfers. ... show more

This magnetic phone holder works very well. To be clear the phone is clamped into the holder, and the magnet is for sticking it onto the golf cart. The magnet is very strong, and my phone did not fall off at all. It does slide down a bit on the biggest bumps, but at least it didn’t fall off, which is the most important thing. ... show more

This golf cart phone holder is made of aluminum and has a nice quality feel to it. It looks like it's well-made. The design is simple. Just turn the thumb screw to open or close the clamp. The clamp opens to almost four inches wide, so it should be able to hold most phones. The clamp has silicone pads to keep the phone from slipping out and to prevent any scratches or damage to the sides of the phone. The magnet feels strong and it should hold as long as you find a large enough metal surface to attach it to. If you have a clip or stand attached to the rear of your phone, it will likely interfere with the use of this phone holder. Since the side tabs of the clamp are in a fixed position, you need to be aware of any of your phone's side buttons that could be depressed when you tighten the clamp. Since there are not any holding tabs at the bottom, if you don't tighten the clamp enough, it is possible for the phone to slide down and out of the holder. Of course, you could avoid this potential problem by attaching the phone holder to the cart sideways (landscape position) and making sure to properly tighten the clamp. ... show more
