I've used this pen for a few days since receiving it and here are my thoughts to help other shoppers. It's quite similar to the reMarkable Marker Plus, but there are a few differences. First, it has the same magnetic and eraser features. I really like the eraser design; it requires a bit of pressure to erase, which prevents accidental erasing and is easy to use. Secondly, the tip seems more durable than the reMarkable Marker Plus. Usually, I replace the tip every 4 to 5 days, but I haven't noticed much wear yet, which saves money since tips are a recurring expense. Lastly, a downside is that it's lighter, which might not feel as good as the reMarkable Marker Plus, but that's my personal preference. Some might prefer a lighter pen? I've adjusted to its weight and it doesn't affect usage. Given its affordable price, I find this acceptable. ... show more

This is a great pen, love the eraser, makes erasing easy and the magnetic features is a plus, well worth it!

    • Light, cheap feeling pen, that has issues writing!
Bought the original, but it broke on the tip after a drop. So, I thought I'd spring for something between the original and the really cheap knock-offs with this pen. As soon as I picked it up I was disappointed in the lack of weight to the pen when compared to the original. It gives it a cheap hollow feel. Even more offending is the very unbalanced weight of the pen. The eraser end is so much heavier than the pen tip end. I don't get anything like the eraser feel when erasing with my old remarkable 2 pen. Also I was hoping the tips I had for the original pen would fit this, but they don't work when inserted... I am also getting the issue where the pen writes when not touching the surface on the Remarkable 2 ... show more

The media could not be loaded. A fantastic alternative pen for the remarkable 2! Writing with it is a breeze, super smooth. My favorite feature is the eraser—it works incredibly well. With just a gentle flip of the pen, you can easily erase, just like my lost original pen. Plus, it's got a strong magnet, stays put on the side of the tablet. I got this to use with the Remarkable 2 because it is similar to the Marker Plus, but not as long, and has the eraser. I don't have the Marker Plus anymore for direct comparison, I mostly use the Digital Jumbo now for its soft nib. == Physical == This stylus measures 16.1cm or 6 5/16" long. Barrel is 9mm wide, and has one flat edge. It weighs 12.7g. For comparison: regular Marker (15g) Marker Plus (19g), Digital Jumbo (9.6g). My first impression was it felt pretty light. Balance is a bit off center towards the eraser end so it feels a little top heavy. Stylus body feels smooth, plasticy. A bit hollow sounding if tapped with your fingernail. It has two pairs of magnets (see photo with magnet viewing film). Holding strength is good. == Writing == The nib has the pencil like feel. I can't remember the Marker nib that well anymore, but I have a feeling this is a bit worse, but still good if you like the pencil feel. Writing feels good. The nib is accurate. Requires a hair more pressure than I like. Similar to what a mechanical pencil requires to get a dark line. I found it a bit hard to modulate the pressure to get different effects, but it's not normally a feature I use. The eraser has a spring to overcome before it erases. The travel is quite small, and doesn't take much pressure to overcome. I still prefer the Noris and Marker Plus where just a tiny bit more than the weight of the pen is adequate to start erasing. This might be good to avoid accidental erases though. == Pictures == The comparison photo has this stylus at the top. Then Staedtler Noris Digital Jumbo, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Note pens. I've lost several pens, I ultimately selected this one that attached to my remarkable 2. Identical to the original pen, it writes smoothly, erases efficiently, looks quite sophisticated, and most importantly, securely attaches to my remarkable 2. This pen works great on my Remarkable 2. What's commendable is its strong magnetic force. After using it, I can naturally let it attach to my Remarkable 2 without worrying about it falling off.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried a few alternative pens for my Remarkable 2, and this one is by far my favorite. It has an eraser, it's magnetic, and the magnet is strong. It functions just like the original pen, so you can confidently purchase it!
