I purchased the Lecover 103 PCS Magnetic Building set for a hands-on demo in a presentation, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my needs due to the weak magnetic strength. Here’s my take on the product: Magnetic Strength: The biggest drawback is the weak magnetic force. After connecting just 3-4 pieces, the structure tends to fall apart, which makes it difficult to build anything large or complex. This weakness limits the set’s functionality, especially for adults or older kids looking to create more elaborate designs. Durability and Quality: On a positive note, the pieces themselves are sturdy and feel well-made. The plastic seems durable and unlikely to break, so I believe it will hold up to regular use over time. Intended Use and Age Suitability: My daughter is 21 months old, so she’s still too young to play with these, especially as some of the round pieces could pose a choking hazard at her age. My initial plan was to use these for my own projects and then later let her play with them when she’s older. Once she’s ready, I think the set could offer benefits like improving fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and creativity. Educational Value: While I couldn’t use this set as intended, I do think it will have educational value in the future. It’s a nice option for encouraging kids to explore basic construction and design, though the magnetic limitations might frustrate those who want to build higher structures. I honsetly don't think these magnets will last more than a couple months. The magnets are weak and will only really hold together if connected by a ball. Even then they aren't the strongest if you are moving around. If you build a structure and leave the magnets be it will hold, but try to pick it up and it will all fall to pieces. It is for building not playing with what you have built. The balls are two pieces connected together, but not very tight. I am nervous that my kids are going to split them in half if they drop them on the hard floor. Saying all this it is still a very fun toy. We built all sorts of different structures with it. There is a nice variety of shapes from long straight, short straight, balls, and curved pieces so you have a variety to work with. My favorite part as a mom is the box that it comes in! It comes in a plastic bin with a lid, clips to lock it, and a handle! So nice to have something store it all in that isn't going to rip! My kids love building, I just hope these last with how weak they are. ... show more
