Magnatiles has no advantage over these as far as I can tell. These magnets are a little stronger and they have reinforced/riveted corners that some say makes tiles less likely to break… though we’ve been pretty rough with several brands of varying quality and not one has broken. These have the strongest magnets I’ve tried and and the price is a crazy good deal. Yes, stronger magnets = superior play. They can be used interchangeably with Magnatiles and many other brands. If you want to spend more money on tiles, get more of these, not a more expensive brand. More tiles = more fun. ... show more

I bought these to teach geometry with. My students loved building 3 dimensional shapes, counting the faces, vertices, etc. It was a great hands-on math lesson and they have asked to play with them at recess ever since.

So I looked through a bunch of magnetic tiles on Amazon and reviews before settling on these. These were exactly what I was looking for. Strong and can be built high into cool designs
