We got this for our newborn as she had a lot of stuff between clothes, blankets, bath stuff, toys, etc and we wanted something to keep them in. It was easy to put together but it's flimsy and doesn't sit level. That's the part that drives my husband crazy as he has tried several times to fix it. The doors do not latch but since we aren't putting anything heavy in it, we aren't worried about them. We have used the top for storage of a diaper caddy and some stuffed animals. It's cute and perfect until she's old enough for a dresser. The two sections for hanging worked out well to be able to keep different sizes separate and fits quite a lot. ... show more

The biggest scare factor in reading other reviews was that this item was not 'sturdy'. That it was 'flimsy' and of 'poor quality'. I'm happy to report that this is NOT the case. The individual panels are a printed plastic laminate that is reasonably good quality. It's not super thick, but it's well constructed and I had no loose stitches or poor assembly. The only complaint I have is that the panels for the doors were assembled with the long bar on the right, making them left to. Right open, instead of right to left like normal doors. This will work well for my left handed child, but I wish there was a choice on purchase to know which one I was getting. That said, it comes with zip ties, a wooden craft hammer, and little plastic clips that you can use to clip the rear, floor, and top portions together of you feel it's necessary. I didn't. It's super important to assemble this slowly and listen as you insert the white metal rods into the black plastic joins. If it didn't CLICK, it's not all the way in! I chose not to use the hammer, and I didn't need it. When assembling, do it in layers. Apply the doors for each layer before moving up a vertical layer. You will thank me. The doors are longer than the other panels to make sure they don't come out, so once you assemble the 5 sides of the cubes, insert the doors, and then push hard on the joins to make sure everything is firmly together. Then do the next layer. You will thank me for doing it this way. The end result is super sturdy and stands up very well to use and abuse. I only needed to use one ziptie for the one double door where the hangar is. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Dont waste your money on this heap of trash. Its constantly falling apart, its HELL to put back together unless you wanna take eeeeeverything out of it every single time it needs to be fixed 🙄 which is OFTEN btw. Im honestly ready to just throw it away and take it as a loss. I have notebook paper sturdier than this, cant believe i wasted $80+ on GARBAGE. Oh and as a fun bonus, the doors will never stay closed. As someone with OCD, this drives me absolutely insane and ive spent HOURS trying to understand what seems to be the problem there but to no avail. The doors also keep breaking somehow lol. My daughter is very careful with her things and ive never had an issue w her breaking any other furniture, even cheap plastic shelves from Family Dollar hold up better than this and this costs A LOT more than Family Dollar. So my wife and I were looking for something to store our son's toys especially since Christmas was coming and we knew we would need storage. We came across this product and after reading all the mixed reviews we decided to give it a try. Assembly was easy and once completed we were very happy with the purchase. Now I hate to complain about quality because "you get what you pay for " but after the first day 2 of the rings where you pull the door open from came loose and fell off. So I preemptively took them all off because my son is 1 and everything makes his way to his mouth. Although disappointed with that I was still ok with the product. Now tonight 2/1/22 just over 1 month from purchase one of the doors snapped when my son fell backwards into it, the metal rod gave him a nice scrape across his belly and right below his eye literally 1cm from the eye which would have been a very bad situation. I really wanted to love this product, it has so much potential to be great if it wasn't for these safety concerns. It is not my intention to bash this product but to bring awareness to parents , no matter how well you watch your child things happen in an instant. Hopefully the manufacturer sees this and improves the quality of the product. ... show more
